Where should I put my spymaster if I want him to find secrets? Do I need to put him in my court or in my vassals court?
Depends who you want to get secrets on, in your court, you will get secrets from your courtiers, in a vassals court, you will get secrets on them and their courtiers and same thing with other realms.

How do you turn off the Fog Of War. I have debug mode on, but i cant change it in the debug menu. It dosent work if you just type it in either. I always play every Paradox game with FOW of, so this is a little bit o a bummer

how to get help from allies?
I'm allied to some fairly strong neighbour, have good relations with him, but he doesn't do anything to help me and I get steamrolled, no matter if it's offensive or defensive war, and he is at peace. What gives?

you need to ask your allies, to join your war.

One of the "issues" in your issues list at the top of the screen should be "you can call an ally into war." You can also right click on him and it will be one of the diplomatic options to call him into war.

Either way, be aware that it will cost some prestige, and that there is no "attach armies" button, so coordination may be a bit erratic. Still useful, but erratic.

This woman is at my court, has a claim on the Duchy of Barcelona, and the Duchy of Barcelona is currently ruled by a child.

Might it be that she is not a Courtier, but a Guest? If you recruit her to your court, I would expect you to be able to press her claim.

Do we really need to use a hook everytime to get some one to be invited to our court?

Seems like it now?

Men-at-Arms should be inherited by your Player Heir, so as a player you can never "lose" them
Thank you for clarifying that. If you don't mind me asking, you say "as a player you can never 'lose' them", so that means the AI can lose their regiments? And if an AI ruler creates a regiment, then under Confederate Partiton, has his land split evenly between his sons, what happens with the regiment? Is it given at random?

Sorry if already asked. I am building a Han dynasty in the Far East, I am feudal And I handed out tribe holdings to loyal Generals and families, when they have the cash will they automatically upgrade the tribes to castles?

How do I give cities I am holding so that they go to a republic type vassal and pay taxes. When I click 'Grant to Low Noble' it gives the city to the wrong vassal type and I get no taxes from it.

I am a clan-based government that has just entered early medieval stage

Is there ANY way to get my Counties to either follow my Duchy's inheritor or get elective like the rest of my realm?
