Does anyone have any idea how this works? Started as Uppland in 867, formed Sweden and now have territory scattered all over Europe, but I'm still not getting 'exposure' aside from the one I started with. At my current rate of development I won't be able to reach feudalism until like 1350.
How does cultural exposure work? I am as a Castilian Culture head I am getting 40% due to sharing a religion with Croatians, but I don't have any contact with them and for this one tech, there are other techs that Croatian have but I don't and I don't get any bonus there. what special building is there in Toledo?
You can only have exposure to one innovation at a time IIRC. Once you complete it you should get a new one. :)

The "sharing religion" tooltip appears to be incorrect according to player reports who got it from cultures they didn't share religions with. It appears that having contact with another culture is enough.

How does it decide if a culture 'shares' a religion though? Does a certain number of people of the culture need to follow the religion?

Based on player reports sharing a religion does not appear to make a difference. I'm not sure if they are correct or not. Unfortunately I have no idea about the finer points of the mechanics there. :(

The game will tell you if an action causes Stress as you are about to undertake it, we usually just go through the motions so quickly that we miss it.

For example, one time I wondered why I kept gaining Stress until I discovered that as I was Shy I got Stress every time I started swaying people. I had swayed so many before that I didn't pay attention to the text.

Another example is when I was Sadistic and gained Stress from moving a prisoner from the dungeon to house arrest when he was going to die from the dungeon.

(In your case I see it was already explained as being Ambitious and handing out titles. :) )
For me, my characters are often compassionate or forgiving, which means you get stress from getting hooks (but not for using hooks you have). Although for me, there's no tooltip when you are about to do it (or this specific tooltip is bugged).

How is dynasty head chosen? I had the most titles & prestige of my dynasty, but my grandnephew was appointed dynasty head over me, even tho he was way younger, had less prestige, & had fewer titles. I was a king & he was only a duke. What is up with that?

Question. Iam playing as the Duke of Anjou in France and I wanted to give a county to one of my siblings but instead of him becoming my vassal he becomes the vassal of the King of France instead. Is that a bug in my game or did they change something from ck2 because i am pretty sure it should not be like that.

After I established the Kingdom of Sicily, the Byzantine Emperor declared war on me pressing a claim on the duchy of Sicily (of which 3 counties belong to one of my dukes and 2 counties belong to my other duke). They're the ones with the most to lose (one of them will go landless!) but weirdly enough they didn't get called into the war, only me. Sure, they're contributing to my levies because they're my vassals, but it's only a fraction of what they can field.

Am I doing something wrong here? Mind you, I probably couldn't win the war anyway (it would be their 9k soldies vs my 6k soldiers if these two dukes got involed directly), but without them it's hopeless (I only have 2k)

Do we really need to use a hook everytime to get some one to be invited to our court?

Compared to CK2, it is difficult to simply invite someone to your Court. Instead, Guests appear at your court that you can recruit. However, you can still invite specific characters if you have a hook on them (as you wrote), or if they are close family (though this is rare)

What's the mathematical relationship between:

Levies (peasants)
Men-at-arms (retinue)
Knights?

I want to figure out if it's preferable to invest in knights 1rst then men-at-arms or vice versa. And why?

Each Soldier in an Army has a Damage and a Toughness value. For Levies, they have 10 of both. Men-at-Arms varies between each type (they also have Pursuit and Screen). Knights have 10 points of Toughness and 100 points of Damage for each point of Prowess.

How can I see the Crown Authority of my Liege? I just got a nasty supprise when I tried to push the claim I just fabricated and found out I needed a hook on my liege due to the realm's laws. I can see my own realm's laws in the Realm tab and my liege's succession laws and line of succession when I click on his primary title, but I can't figure out where I can see his crown authority.

Under his name there is an icon for it.

do our characters no longer have opinions of others? or is it all player decision

No, your own character has no opinion of others (well, they do but it is never shown nor does it have any effect)

I'm trying to find stress level but I can't seem to figure out where it is.

As a tribal count, is it good to raise men at arms in peace time or just when I get in a war?

I see they cost prestige to make and maintain too right?

How does one move your Capital County? can't find the button and the Encyclopedia is unhelpful.

I am King of Ireland and I want to move court and Capital to Dublin from Thomond.

Zoom into the map so you can click on the baronies. Then click on the barony in Dublin. Then next to the Holding's name, there's a rename button, and a crown button that indicates your capital, or lets you move the capital. You can click this button to change the capital. Note that some basic conditions must be met. For instance, you cannot be at war, and you must hold the title, meaning you cannot change the capital to a title held by a vassal. I highlighted the button as a red rectangle in the image below.

How do I press multiple claims in a war? I've fabricated several claims on a single realm, and when declaring war on him, it seems I can only press one of those claims.
