Any way to make Nanfaren and other major cultures accepted in China after westernization? I'm having 25% adm. efficiency in most states because of it.
Yes, custom decisions.
Are there any events that rename a province/place in the game? I need to use it as a baseline for a modding change.
I am not sure in the base game but PDM has a bunch of renaming province decisions such as Elsass- Lothringen.

Sorry for double post: my game is messed up. If I were to re-install the game (Steam Libarary > Properties > Delete Local Content > Re-install) would it remove my game saves? If so, is there a way to re-install the game without losing my saves.

It shouldn't, but just to be sure, you could go grab your save folder from Documents/Paradox Interactive/Victoria 2/save and move it somewhere else.

How does unemployment work?
E.g. there is a province with an RGO that is 79% filled, so plenty of room for more labourers, however, unemployment amongst labourers in that province is 29%, and it is a resource I cant satisfy demand in and is in high deman on the world market.

There is a limit on the amount of workers that can be hired and fired per day.
Also prices increase slowly, so probably the price will increase and the RGO will hire more people, but it just needs time.
That is my understanding.

Is there a mod that basically just has the extra countries, events, and great war demands (dismantle empire) of the pop demand mod? I like those things, but I'm not a big fan of most of the other pop demand things. Just not my cup of tea.

Thanks.

New Nations Mod (NNM) is the granddaddy of PDM and most other mods.

Yeah.

There is also /gsg/.
Which is based on NNM, too, hehe. But you're right, it's another expansion mod that doesn't have the economy and other changes that PDM has.

Got a few questions.
First of all, can anyone explain why i have unemployed farmers? I conquered Tunisia as the Ottomans, and most of the provinces have had 100% unemployment for farmers. Googling around, the only thing i could find is that maybe the crop (Goats) is in low demand (it's my most exported item by a huge margin).
If that's the case, what can i do about it? I've tried NF encouraging soldiers, but that's way too slow. Of about 10k farmers, they promote 1-2 at a time to soldiers...

Next, what can i do about Greece's shared cores always causing crises? The "flashpoint" reaches 100, a crisis happens, it gets resolved because most of the powers take my side, then it starts all over again.

Last thing, is there a way to influence pop income? There's a few farmers that can't afford their needs (their income is the same as their expenses) and are causing militancy. Not sure whether taxes affect it, but if i do drop poor taxes, the only benefit is for that 1% who can't afford things...the other 99% are just gonna dump their excess in the bank, and with Ottomans being so poor, i really can't afford that.

Not a great deal as far as I know, except hope you get 1% of your nations pop in the province as bureacrats and convert it to a state, so they can move onto working in a factory..or migrate to the homeland. In a more modern setting, they would have migrated to the colonial overlords sooner.

Next, what can i do about Greece's shared cores always causing crises? The "flashpoint" reaches 100, a crisis happens, it gets resolved because most of the powers take my side, then it starts all over again.

Nothing, except to release them. The crisis system is a bit flawed, and seems to be mainly focused on the Greek liberation movement..oh, and the polish. Keep your citizens very happy, its about the only thing you can do. But I suppose this is part of the flavour of playing a multi cultural country vs a mono cultural country.

Last thing, is there a way to influence pop income? There's a few farmers that can't afford their needs (their income is the same as their expenses) and are causing militancy. It takes time to spread the wealth..but denying them of their life needs just not only build up militancy, it also makes them move internally to see if the grass really is greener on the other side. Some rgo's have poor value, are over produced, or are not needed..some are the opposite. You essentially want to fill the rgo's that produce stuff of importance to your economy, or that have a good price on the world market, so your farmers or labourers get richer.

Also, it influences their political views. Mad farmers will lean towards being reactionary.

The detailed pop screen is your friend as always.

Hello, i started a game as Serbia. Tried several times to start a crisis for my territories held by the otomans, the tension rise up to 100 multiple times in southern Serbia and in Bosnia (with my national focus), but a crisis never happen in the entire game. There is something else that i am supposed to do to start a crisis?. Crisis over the greece territories happen very often.

Random luck. You were just really unlucky.
