No. Capitalists are just flat-out bad if tasked to build a working economy out of nothing ((factories have long build-times and require substantial amounts of cash; capitalists make money out of the profits of existing factories, so in a country w/o factories, people may promote/demote to capitalists, fail to assemble enough pounds, starve and promote/demote to something else again)).Is this good?
If you're not Laissez-Faire, you can still invest in factories your capitalists are proposing. If you're Laissez-Faire, either abandon the idea of industry, or get a different ruling party.[...] and if yes then how can i build some? Since my ruling party does not allow me to build them.
How do you lower militancy when all of the reforms have been passed?
But that will lower your pops. If it is a communist or fascist revolt and you don't need your sphere or allies, you can let them win.Keep a loyal, well supplied army, and wait for rebels to pop up. Crushing them will cause militancy to lower.
What I'm trying to say is that there is no way. Keep infamy low, and try to make sure pops have their needs.

Yes and especially if your monarch is actually a president in a democracy. Fascist dictatorship>proletarian dictatorship>monarchy>everything else>democracy>the-"liberal"-dictatorship-I-never-remember-what-is-called. I would put proletarian dictatorship first if the communist party has jingoism. What!? And turn your back on your lawfull monarch!?hmy:
I'm playing a game as Germany, and I'm at war with Denmark in 1859. I'd had them in my sphere for like 20 years when I decided I wanted to take the 2 German core provinces off them and unite once and for all Schleswig Holstein and all of Germany. So I broke my alliance and de-sphered them yadda yadda yadda. Then I declared on them for my cores, and then I wanted to expand my war a bit and take Danish Ghana off them, but for some reason it won't allow me to or add any other war goals. The add war goal option is there, but then when I click on a war goal such as add to sphere the "proceed" button is still greyed out.
Shouldn't it allow me to be adding other war goals? It's not like I have a truce with them or anything. It's just me v them, there aren't any other allies involved on either side. I'm confused.
I've smashed their armies and occupied all of peninsula Denmark, it's basically just Copenhagen I haven't occupied. I don't think it's a war score issue. Usually if it's a war score issue it says "the war is not going well enough". It's just weird because the "add war goal" is nice and blue and it allows me to select all the different war goals, but when I do select one I can't click on "proceed". I can't remember this happening with anyone before.
The only thing I can think of, is I just got out of a relatively big war against the UK and Netherlands, and am also currently at war with Egypt because they threw my ambassadors out or something. Would that have any baring?
Edit: Oh I'm such a numpty. My jingoism is at 6.5% That's probably why. Although if it's not high enough then I wonder why it's allowing me to click on add wargoal? Usually it's just greyed out until you reach the 6.988% or whatever it is.
Edit 2: Ok so I waited until jingoism reached 7% but it was still the same and wouldn't let me proceed with adding a war goal. I'm stumped again.
Nope no mods or anything, and I haven't altered any game code apart from changing Japan's colour on the map from the awful cherry blossom to red. I don't know if war exhaustion would play a factor but that's very low anyways, like 1% low.
Yh it shows all the militancy, prestige etc for all the war goals. Is it maybe something to do with the fact I broke my alliance with them not long ago so I can only have a limited war. I'm pretty sure I'm making that rule up though lol. I've got no idea at all, it's a mystery. Thanks for the input anyways guys.
