I think, it is just graphical addition, it does not affect anything. And imo, it may be very ugly sometimes.
All Right this may sound Stupid but how do you get Screenshots in Victoria II or any other Paradox Game like EU III Or HOI III. I'll Press F12 and the Computer Screen says "Screen Shot Taken". But then I'll go into The Game Files, go into the Screenshots Folder and there's no screenshots.
Are the files hidden ? I'd like to remake my AAR's with In Game Screenshots, but can't seem to do it...
Is there a way to give more land to your Satellites? For example: If I release Australia, then colonize the interior at a later date, is there any way to give that land to Australia? I know you can't release the same nation twice and free people is only a CB afaik.

Look for the ID of the respective provinces you want to hand over (in /map/definition.csv).
Even betterOr, use showprovinceid to make province IDs appear in to the tooltip when you hover over a province. Much more convenient than looking in the file.
Yes, i have seen Von Moltke in command of my army.Showprovinceid/changeowner is a man's best friend. And to think I used to write up long-winded events to do this sort of thing in EU3 and possibly Victoria/HOI2.
Quick question: Are their historical leaders? Von Moltke and the like. From what I've seen there isn't, with a couple of exceptions like in the ACW scenario. I don't see why it couldn't make the jump from Victoria, the HOI3 leaders were literally copied and pasted from HOI2.
It may be under My Documents\Paradox Interactive.
What country are you, and what are your gains with said country? Do you build factories yourself or let capitalists? Are you a great power and if so, what's your rank and do you have some good spheres? Getting needs met is often more about providing with RGO's and factories than it is about tax level. What percentage of my poor pops should have Everyday-needs or higher in 1890? I can't seem to get it any higher than about 30% and about 50% for the middle class.
