I have doubts about the Navy composition: with the changes in HOD ¿what is the best ratio of heavy and light ships?
Early Game: Man'o'War - Frigate.
Mid Game: Ironclad - Commerce raider / Battleship - Monitor.
Late Game: Dreadnought - Crusier.

Is there anywhere in the game files that list what how many Colony Points a certain ship type provides?
EDIT: Yes, in there Unit Files. Would be nice if it actually appeared in the game somewhere.

I find it really annoying that absolutely nobody migrates to my colonies, even with immigration NF. How can I mod it up a bit? I don't mean to have half the country move to Africa but atleast get some pops over. 
There are techs (culture, 5th column) influencing this. There's also a possibility that they are moving there, it's just that they then "promote" or demote into a native culture pop. That's why in my current game only the Bureaucrats and Officers of Curacao are still Dutch. All the other Protestant Dutch citizens decided to become Catholic Afro-Caribbean farmers.
LOL! I thought this was fixed long ago? I do have Dutch Guyana where the Dutch pops didn't get an identity crisis and decide they are black and eventually I got it into a state where the Afro-Caribbeans suddenly turn into white Dutch people. However, nobody goes to Ghana or Java for example. I do have quite some of the culture techs indeed and was expecting them to have some effect. I forgot about the unemployment factor, but I can never fill my factories.
Just to note:
The difference between promotion and demotion in this game is, that a pop demotes if it isn't able to pay it's current needs, and promotes, if it gets it's needs, but the target is doing better (so clergymen will happily promote into farmers, if your education spending is low enough and the local RGO is doing better.
This perculiar behaviour has led me to assume that as much as 1/4 of the population of Curacao are going about their lives dressed like Zwarte Piet.
If my ally and war leader (GB) decides to end the war with my added wargoal not fulfilled, will I suffer the prestige penalty for this wargoal?
A friend of mine is kind of interested in learning the game, but he does not have the time to spend at my place for hours watching me play. So my question would be twofold.
1) How do you record a gaming session and does that work the same for all Paradox games?
2) Would the file be small enough to fit onto a standard 4GB usb?

How can I make accepted pops assimilate, can I for example tweak some file to do this?
How do I take a world ,map screenshot when F12 is taken by steam for their screenshot button?
It still takes a screenshot ingame - And you CAN rebind the F12 key that Steam uses.
When you hover your mouse over the "they don't accept" text, the many things AI takes into account for accepting or denying the alliance is presented. I didn't seem to find what navy strength or army strength means??

- Why Krakow's decision for forming Poland (just Poland not Poland-Lithuania) is gone?
- Where is located 'Form Poland Lithuania' decision file so I can tweak it? (Right now you need to own all core provinces which I find too extreme).
Any help would be appreciated.

There is no separate "form Poland-Lithuania" decision. Krakow gets the generic "form your culture union" decision, just like any other country whose culture group has a union tag associated with it and doesn't have a special union formation decision. The culture union for the Polish culture group (consisting of the Polish and Lithuanian cultures) is Poland-Lithuania.
If you want to write a narrower decision, take a look at the form_gran_colombia decision in decisions\NationalUnification.txt
