Have you researched PD? That may be required too. I didn't check since I don't use hangars on ships much. I also seem to get Cruisers and Battleships late (after all the weapons).
In 1.3, they explode. In 1.2, they remain but you can't make more.I'm playing with wormholes as my FTL method and I'm wondering what happens when the trade deal with another nation that grants me wormhole station access ends. Will all my wormhole stations in that empire's space be immediately disbanded, or will they be left alone since they're already there? If the former, will I be given some opportunity to renegotiate wormhole station access first and if the latter, can I still continue to use them or do I have to gain wormhole station access again first?
Some event ships can be upgrade if you choose the auto-update button and then upgrade them, you'll have to cull the other designs, this doesn't work with raiders, and don't recall it working with the cultist, but the cruiser from derelict works. Is there any way to upgrade ships that you gained from events?
I have a Cruiser but it only has warp 1. I'd like to upgrade it to warp 2 but I have no design I can change. It has far better weapons than anything in my fleets, so naturally I'd like to keep it around.
Do xenophobes get upset if I use robots?

In my experience, if you refrain from hostile action, i.e. Colony encroachment, warfare, and diplomatic insults, it starts to drop. not certain on the time required. Also, if you lost territory or they gain territory, threat will change. And another question: threat is permanent and never decays?
Thanks!
If you choose the liberate war goal on more than one planet, does it create a new empire for each planet or just one from the war?
