On top of that how do I see or choose who to put on it..Im never seeing the choice

I don't know the answer to jrdbrr's question, but you get the option to choose which pop to put on when you create the ship. If there's only one possible pop that you could put on at the time, you won't get anything. (So if you only have pop's with identical ethos, or a bunch of robots, you won't get anything at all.)

Under what circumstances do embassies decay? I would assume as soon as you remove the embassy, but in my ~20 hours so far I haven't seen the embassy diplo bonus decrease at all. (This might be a bug.)

Is there any way to find out the name of the leader and/or heir of another Empire?
It told me the leader's name when I made first contact, but since then I can't find the information anywhere.
(I only need it for AAR purposes, so it's not like I don't have bigger problems, but still, it would be nice.)

Quick one on Observation Posts:
So I found Earth, and they're advanced enough to have built a space station, but nothing else. I was able to build an observation post thinking I could "Enlighten" them into vassalage. However, now that it's built I can't access the options on the observation post. I was able to do it to another species earlier in the game, so there's no prerequisites missing.

Anyone know what's going on here?

Post belongs to a sector. Hopefully it will get fixed, but for now I removed system from sector.

* Is there any way to finish exploration event chains once the whole galaxy has been surveyed by someone? I've got 5/6 on the Cybrex chain but it seems like everywhere has been explored at this point by either myself or the other empires.

Bumping this last one in case anyone knows.

Hm, I just created a separate thread for this, but probably more appropriate to post here:

Construction Ships should be able to upgrade Military Stations
This should be a no-brainer. Instead of having to scrap and re-build Military Stations (Defence Platforms, Defence Stations, Fortresses, etc), Construction Ships should be able to upgrade them in a similar fashion that Spaceports upgrade fleet ships. In the same way, have a cost and time to bring the station up to the current design. If they can build them, they should be able to upgrade them.

Right now, I have a bunch of obsolete Defence Stations and unemployed Construction Ships.

Make it so!

Does destroying a frontier outpost remove the border/sphere of influence it projects?
Yes, I've been using the fact during wars multiple times.

Have any of you had leaders gain traits through leveling up? I have never had it happen, although an enemy admiral has 4 traits...
No, they seem to gain traits more frequently the higher level they are. However from what I have experienced, they gain them randomly not in conjunction with leveling up. I have had a level 3 scientist gain a trait, but it was when he was half way to leveling up.

Hmmm, I see. I've had 5-star leaders and still no one has gained a 2nd trait.

Another quick suggestion: allow Science Ships to "re-survey" systems, or even deep space searching for anomalies. After "bordering-out" and surveying all systems in my own space, there doesn't seem much to do with Science Ships barring some special events.
