Is there a way when ordering attack/support attack for multiple divisions to also tell them to try and get in the enemy province at the same time? I think there was something similar in HoI3, but can't remember exactly what it was and SHIFT+R.Click doesn't work differently than simply right-clicking...

You see most stuff in tool tips.
  1. With scraping the barrel (highest man power conscritpion) its almost impossible with Germany to reach zero manpower before 1960. So manpower is not really a limit for larger nations. Even less for Soviet Union.
  2. When you are conquering successfully, you have soon unlimited production. MIC at 200-300 factories is no rare sight. And I myself also already sat on 1,200 MIC, so you actually dont care for production at the time you up conscritpion law that high.
  3. Its called total mobilization and it also takes 3% from your manpower pool. So yes its supposed to happen to drop your man power.

  1. Seems as if I remember some pretty big penalty for doing this (not in-game / at home right now). So is this really recommended?
  2. Isn't number of MICs (assumed: Military Industrial Complexes) severely limited by resources (esp. Oil and Rubber for Germany)?
  3. So if it only takes 3% of your manpower pool, why did mine drop from over 800K to 0 when I instituted this policy?
Thanks for your help!

  1. When you are low on manpower you need to - no way around, except disbanding other units....
  2. The number of MICs in operation is limited by ressources. But actually my "country" was even able to maintain that ressource need :D
  3. 3% of total manpower tool. When you eg. have 20 mill manpower and 3% are conscribed and you are already down to 1.5% available since you used the rest of manpower already,... by then 3% less makes you to have no manpower at all...

1. Extensive Conscription lengthens Training Time by 10%. Service by Requirement reduces Factory Output by 10%, increases Construction Speed by 10%, and lengthens Training Time by 20%. All Adults Serve reduces Factory Output by 30%, increases Construction Speed by 30%, and lengthens Training Time by 30%, Scraping the Barrel reduces Factory Output by 40%, increases Construction Speed by 40%, and lengthens Training Time by 50%.
2. Building synthetic refineries helps alot if you don't expect to conquer areas with alot of rubber but Germany should get alot of oil from beating the Soviet Union.
3. Same thing happened in my British Raj game. 3% is alot so when going Total Mobilization you want to have either Extensive Conscription or Service by Requirement.

How do you move an existing command group (army leader and his assigned troops) from one theater to another?

(Selecting a general and choosing New Theater puts him into the new theater. How does a second general get there? Left- or right-click and drag between the theater docks doesn't work, and I didn't see a button anywhere on the leader dialog to set their theater. Is there a better way to do it than (a) remove the leader; (b) choose the destination theater; (c) reform the command group with the leader in the new theater? Removing the leader is problematic as it disrupts planning and orders. It should be possible just to reorg an existing set of generals from, say, everyone in "Europe" to some in "Germany" and some in "Mediterranean" without stopping ongoing operations or re-selecting units. But I haven't found that UI quirk to reshuffle who's in which dock.)
select the Theatre ICON and right-click in the desired Theatre.

For the "One Empire" achievement, the HOI4 wiki says the requirements are:
  • Is United Kingdom
  • Is a faction leader
  • Every state in the world is controlled by United Kingdom, one of their puppets, or another member of their faction
I'm about 80% through my WC, and was wondering about the second requirement, "Is a faction leader". Right now, it's just me my puppet Raj. I don't think I'm still the leader of the Allies (might be, I'd have to check). When I switched to fascist, all my faction members bailed out.

Does anyone know the specifics on this requirement? Is the UK always a default faction leader? If I did disband my faction, and then one-tag WC, would I not get the achievement because I am not a faction leader?

If i disband all of my units as Spain but queue up and train multiple divisions but not deploy them, when the civil war starts, will the enemy also not get any units?

Is this an exploit or gamey or something? I dont know any details, but ive had this idea after seeing how civil wars work.

Ouch, 46 pages, I will read it when I have time, but in the interim...

When I am staging a coup, what difference does it make how many of the weapons I send them? If I am not at full weapons do they get only a % of units trained or something? I've started stockpiling massive amounts of weapons for just this thing because I don't know what difference it makes.

As Germany, i conquered Poland without the Allies intervening, i'm thinking about going straight for the Soviet Union instead of conquering the Balkans or France, if i declare on them, will the Allies support the Soviet Union, as they would if i declared on Yugoslavia?

Playing as France and hoping to DoW Germany at Rhineland remilitarisation event as the starter to a try for the big endente achievement. Tried ~15 times and UK always supports me and I join the allies - I thought was the less likely outcome, but may be wrong. Updated to the beta patch and swapped to non-historic and still no luck.

Even tried being less prepared with where my troops, generals, ships and planes are in case a win chance is taken into account - am I (un)lucky, or is there something I should/shouldn't be doing to make sure I'm all by myself?

Faction members cannot be guaranteed nor do they join wars by default. It is possible that the Allies will eventually intervene and declare war on you, but they will not immediately support the SU.

Playing the same Soviet Union game from earlier posts about world tension limits and the Soviet Union. All of China has been conquered by Japan, including some states that China has cores on. Before China went down, it made its own faction with PRC. If I get to the peace conference and "liberate" China but take some of its core provinces should I expect a war with China in the future? Also, I would like to to try and puppet China after I liberate it, but is that impossible if China is in a faction, even if all members of that faction (including China) have been conquered? Also, if there is a good place on the wiki (or anywhere else) that could help me with these kind of questions, I would be thankful.

As Germany, i conquered Poland without the Allies intervening, i'm thinking about going straight for the Soviet Union instead of conquering the Balkans or France, if i declare on them, will the Allies support the Soviet Union, as they would if i declared on Yugoslavia?
Depends on your game. Id assume you would be in war with France anyway?

Hello,
is the world tension depend of state size, or number of provinces or something else?
For example, if I generate claim with 1-province minor country it will generate less then 1% WT.
With some major country generated WT will be much higher even on game start,
and when you conquered half of the Europe, generating CB or declaring a war will add a extremely HUGE tension.

I didn't find at defines.lua a modifier which could cause this, is this could be modded some way?

Thanks.

I always got a warning: low on weapons and that coup wont happen without.

Well, you only need 50% of the weapons for the coup to succeed, I just don't know how the percentage about that translates, I've done a few tests but if anyone knows the guts of it that would be appreciated.
