Hallo there, all! I gotta say I'm insanely impressed by this mod and not sure how I didn't really notice it before. I think I've viewed this forum a few times and kind of forgot about it, which was a crying shame. Having now given the Weltkrieg 2: Electric Boogaloo a try, I can say I'm a diehard fan. ;) I do have a few questions, though - and hopefully it won't be too much of a hassle to get 'em answered here. First off - how do I play revolting nations, like the CNT-FAI/Carlist Spain, Republic of China, or AUS/CSA? For the CNT-FAI and AUS options, I've managed to peaceably survive until the option to move respective leaders into HoS or HoG positions, and in the CNT-FAI's case that even founds the Federacion. However there is then no Spanish Civil War, and I get events claiming the war was terrible, and now it's over..? For the CSA, everything seems to be proceeding as planned, and then suddenly MacArthur seizes power and I'm stuck playing the marshal-law US. In the Union State's case, I just never trigger any breakaway nationalism and no civil war starts. But let's hold on the subject of the Union State for a second.

Why - and I do mean why - is Huey Long considered some sort of fascist? In real-life, he did pro-bono work for the IWW during his time as a lawyer, and the few promises he kept in office were to left-wingers and trade-unionists. You can argue with great veracity that he was a kleptocrat, authoritarian and a populist but he never forget his roots and his promises to the poor. He crippled Standard Oil and though he certainly used people like Gerald Smith and Coughlin, they were political tools to be used and discarded (though it's easily forgiven to think otherwise, given how they seized his fame after his death). As for SAMUEL GREEN being one of his ministers, Long repeatedly threatened the KKK and he had the national guard forceably disbanded the racists to the point that Louisiana was considered 'unhallow ground' to their spiritual-fascist jargon. And the founding of the Minute Men event? That just seems like a bizarre attempt to meld modern socio-economic oppression onto someone to make them even more 2-dimensional and saturday morning cartoon villainish. ;) I realize it's easy to grab ministers without a lot of research and just stick them in situations, and it is probably too late to correct this/I am the only person who cares about it, but it's extremely hard for me to play the US scenarios as they unfold as is. It's like seeing Kaiser Wilhelm as Council Communist chairman of Antigua or perhaps more relevant and less humorously, Frida Kahlo as a national populist. And, and, and - and this is definitely most important - why if you're gonna use Huey, is the capital in Atlanta? Baton Rouge, baby! ;) Again - I understand that you are probably unlikely to change this as is, but I would really like to understand your reasoning.

This may be a default question for Darkest Hour, but would it be possible to 'un-ban' the policy sliders restriction? Given the abundance of syndicalism (both socialistic/anarchistic in tendancy, and corporatist) it seems unrealistic to have limits on the open-close and lassiez fair/central planning sliders, even more so then our own timeline. If I recall from a Brazil game, both Brazillian Syndicalists and NP have the choice to go either slider route through events, but instead of moving policy sliders it just 'sets' you at certain areas. That might be WAD but I wouldn't mind being able to give something other then hawk or interventionism a nudge... :)

Finally, don't take my various complaints as a complaint about the mod as a whole - I've played about ten games (admittedly rather short, each) - and found new things every time. It's a great mod, and I hope to see more from it! Congrats to all the team past and present, and thanks for putting it together.

Edit: This is all relevent to the DH version, as it is all I have played. My apologies if the feedback above is irrelevant to any other versions.
