Quick question. Will there be any issues if I enable European theme before I load up an existing city?

I'm playing on a temperate map with regular game assets with a city of about 90,000. I assume this won't change my existing buildings but will let me choose to change a district at a time (I actually don't want the European growables). I basically just want to have some of the unique buildings that only the European maps seem to have. Thanks.

As far as I remember, enabling the European theme won't grant you any of the unique building's unless being on a European map.
However before there was a mod which could unlock everything not sure if it is still working.

Thanks to both of you, appreciate the answers. Looks like I did get all the service and unique buildings. I just didn't want everything else to convert, which it didn't.
