Hi:
I''ve been playing with a friend this mod for a looong time, but after buying and installing "The Reapers Due" DLC, and beginnning a new game with the Tomb Kings, my friend's game (a client, I host the game) crashes after playing for 5 or 10 minutes. It dsyncs and a few days later it just crashes to desktop.

We've both fully reinstalled both clients and mods (deleting all files in Documents), but the crashes persist, and it looks like we can play safely if I don't enable the DLC at the launcher.

I'm pretty confused at the moment, anybody knows another (possible) solution? I shall look for error logs?
I recall reading somewhere that all players require the same dlc, not just one of them or the host. I think the mod developers are extra averse to enabling dlc features/content to those without, and risk getting in trouble with Paradox.

Have you tried vanilla multiplayer with and without the dlc?

Hello! Currently having the issue of not being able to create ducal titles unless my character holds one of the countie titles himself. As an emperor or king trying to organise your realm and keeping below the vassal limit this is quite the frustration when you own a whole duchy but there is no duke ruling but four counts instead taking vassal limit slots. Is this intended and if so why? Or is this a bug?

We have tried today and everything looked stable.
I'm quite confused, as I had no problems playing solo that save when i tested neither

Fairly sure this is intended, honestly not sure why, maybe the AI was making too many duchies that they held directly or something

Yes, for the most part. I think the one who made it also pointed out that it's simply kinda...illogical to call yourself the duke of, say, Altdorf, when someone else holds Altdorf.

Lemme ask a less annoying question for ya lol.

I'm kinda confused with Jade vampire conquest mechanics. Am I required to use the Lost Lizard men at all times in order for them to work right? I noticed that there's some sort of event that causes non-vampire Jade culture individuals to die instantly and then the court is replaced with lizardmen...Is this consistent when I conquer Nagashizzar, or will my court begin to create Strigany to make up for it?

err.. so can anyone point me to a list of what each magic spell does? i tried looking in the faq but the "here here" links in there dont seem to lead anywhere usefull either...

cause this here ingame as carstein vampire with combat magic doesnt explain anything what the spells do:

5235235.png

and the carstein ring got stolen... and there seems to be no way to find out who stole it? where it is now? how to get it back?
there were a zillion plots to steal it i got informed of over and over... but i have no chance to get it back once its stolen? nothing in the character menu rightclicking vlad... nothing in the intrigue decisions... nothing in the personal plots... i can see "steal the ring" as unavaiable plots at teh very bottom of that plot list but noone actually "has the ring" out of the ones shown.

Magic is Zara's beef. Nobody but him can help you there >_>

Carstein ring only stays in the game while vampires steal it from one another. If some mortal suceeded (or their thief decided to keep it), it's poofed.

well i guess i just go with "its poofed" then... even though it would be more fun if it would be "somewhere stored away" or so and you could try to get it back... sort of like the lord of the rings ring... or the character artefact quests of warhammer total war...it might get lost for a while, but you get info where it ended up at and you could try to get it back with plots or conquering the land its in or so. not sure about the lore of the ring... if humans would just quickly destroy it or if its quite a powerfull magic artefact (well it IS as it makes him immortal) that its not that easily done and its more stored away.

i had the event with lying in bed with no dreams over daylight with a "...." choice and the next event box was about a thief and the ring away or so. i am not even sure if it showed who took it.
and a bit later i got the "good news the ring is gone" message.. what was quite weird as carstein... how is it good news? haha but i guess its more a "world event message" hey the ring is gone or so.

512144321.png

it also sais "he has not managed to retrieve it" what makes me think there would be a way to do that to get it back once its gone too.
that while its gone you are vulnerable to die, but if you manage to get it back you are sort of safe again till someone manages to steal it again or it gets lost and you have to try to find it again.

also i think since the ring is gone (or not sure since when actually) i dont have "subjugation" as option for "declare war" anymore, but now have "claim" and "imperial reconquest" options.
at first i got events about conquering stuff like ostermark, talabecland (took them over) and then middenland (i had to white peace out of that one) and later tried to subjugate reikland then (not event) but lost that war.
also the message box about if people surrender right away or "serve in death then" etc...
well and now i noticed the change that there is no subjugation option anymore for some reason.

414214.png

oh and that the military armory lvl 1 just gives negatives feels weird too... why would you even build it if it just debuffs everything? i know lvl 2 is pretty good and gives everythign a positive.. but still arent you better off not building it till you can just jump to lvl 2 if it makes everything till then around 10% worse?
the text sais its just crap equipment... but i would guess even a crap sword, spear or shield is better than no weapon atall and its a place to store equipment... so it should have some positive for it being build. it feels way weird like: here i got 100 militia... now i build a armory to store crappy equipment for you guys.. and you all fight 10% worse now.

2623534.png

i dont know... it feels weird

Is there any hope for a steam release of the mod? Also when is the latest version that is lined up with the latest version of CK2 planned to be available for play (a time frame is also appreciated/acceptable).
Thanks

  • Europa Universalis IV: Conquest of Paradise
Greetings
Is there any hope for a steam release of the mod? Also when is the latest version that is lined up with the latest version of CK2 planned to be available for play (a time frame is also appreciated/acceptable).
Thanks

There's been next-to-no work since the last update for compatibility on developer end. Unless Holy Fury revitalizes some folks, I don't see much happening.

I should just sticky that somewhere, with a big !!!ATTENTION!!! ahead. Maybe then people may actually notice it, even if it has been quoted on the same page.

How do you get a dark crystal? I'm a High King Norscan who's conquered most of Lustria and I have the dark crystal ambition but I've waited forever and haven't got one yet. I thought one of the dark crystals was in Lustria?

Trying to get this running again, downloaded the files, extracted them to C:\Users\OneDrive\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod, files are there but when I run CK2 the mod tab is greyed out and I can't run anything but the base game. What have I done wrong?

Nevermind, a little file juggling and I got it going.

I've just recently conquered a large chunk of Greenskin territory near Iron Rock, around 10 or so counties. 4 of them refuse to be exterminated (how dare they!), and have resisted about ten attempts now. Are there any tips, tricks (cheats) to get these areas under control so I can finally assign them to my vassals and move on with my life?

They in the the area South of the border princes and North of the tomb kings? I believe the whole area in that region that starts out Greenskin has a hefty penalty to the chance of exterminating them, only thing you can do really is keep trying or give the place over to a rich vassal who will keep trying for you as long as they have money.
