Hey, I'm not sure if this has been asked before, so I do apologize if it has been but...

How do the characters of Kuldevind Island use Norscan clothing despite being a merchant republic?

We have NO IDEA. It just worked.

Second question, how do I (a Kislevite) learn magic? Occasionally I get characters that have the aptitude for it, but nothing ever happens to them.

If you're female, or your daughters exist and have aptitude, send them to an Ice Witch for training. No other magic is allowed in Kislev.

Is the vanilla feature that certain tech prevents raiders from coming up the river still in the game, and if so what tech do I need?

No idea, honestly. Even if it is, the Reik and some other rivers are considered "ocean" for the sake of Merchant republics, so that won't help either.

There haven't been any Ice Witches in my game since the starting Tsarina. And playing as her, I never saw any options to train others.

EDIT: I stand corrected, I found one. Seems they're not that common. Now to wait for another relative with magic potential.

(by the way, I know male spellcasters are banned in Kislev, but if you let them live can they learn anyway? Or does it only come into play if, e.g. they end up worshipping Tzeentch?)

There is a minor bug in the event. The sorcererapprentice.10004 event to give ice witches does not actually add the "ice witch" trait. But yeah, with a 50 year MTTH for rulers Duke and above only (and with a 50% to get a witch so old she will likely die within a few years), they are very very rare. It's even worse for skink priests for lizardmen.

Essentially you must have the Tzarina start training any new kids, to make sure witches don't die out.

What is the name of the old trait that humans get? Became immortal through quest line so want to remove it.

You still look old, though? :p
I think it will reapply anyway, honestly.

Dog person, so no.

Like, honestly.

Would a picture of nobles burning in magma while eating ☼Cat Tallow Roast☼s convince you?

On a clarification note, it's not tech that prevents traveling up rivers, but the fort levels on that river. Get enough forts and it blocks river access to foreign raiders. But as was said, many "Rivers" are oceans since merchant republics can only operate on ocean tiles, so those can't be blocked by fort level.

It seems the very upper reaches of the river that goes to Kislev city is a real river. Although unless I've been spectacularly unobservant, I swear that's only half the problem because raiders seem to teleport into that area without using boats (including nomads who don't have access to boats).

Anyway, I left that save and went off krumpin' gits wiv da boyz.

Sometimes, Goblin raiders get...well, overzealous, with their raiding.
I remember one case where a moronic Boss sent his 4000 men straight into the heart of the Empire, for reasons unfathomable to the human-dwarf-mind.

Would a picture of nobles burning in magma while eating ☼Cat Tallow Roast☼s convince you?

Raiding by land doesn't even work unless it's neighbouring provinces, does it? Or has that been changed?

Is it safe to say that conquering all of norsca will stop the vast majority of raiders? I mean like I don't even care about them raiding 99% of my realm, but I keep getting notifications and its getting annoying.

Also, the in game the Norscans are weak to chaos because of there religion right? Like if I make them all sigmarite, half of them wont be converting to chaos?
