I really hope that the devs will consider implementing some of my suggestions regarding reichskommisariats and other type of puppets as well as some little changes to the borders in this DLC

as far as I know the polish focus tree comes with the main game as a free extensionI can't really name more than three countries for the upcoming DLC: USSR, Finland, and Iran. A fourth would be something marginal like Mongolia or the Baltic states.
I continue to doubt Poland will be part of the upcoming DLC because of the way its original focus tree was released - even if it's free, Poland's focus tree is already DLC. Generally one DLC completely overriding another isn't done. They will likely update Poland, but push it the way they did the recent Yugoslavia update, rather than tying it to the new DLC.
That's what I said. It's free DLC. You can press a button in the launcher and disable the Poland focus tree.as far as I know the polish focus tree comes with the main game as a free extension
o fugg, didn't notice that part, you're right, but still, I think that they can actually just release the rework as a DLC, like the historical part will just be expanded and given as a free patch and for the alternate pats they'll just do as they did to France, keep them as they are but with the dlc they get expanded a lot more. That's what I said. At the very least an insurrection. If it’s not the Soviets i think there there will be riots.
lmao... what happened at pdxcon, stays at pdxconand it all stems from that fateful day, in that Berlin train station pub
If Ethiopia gets a tree the Ethiopian war needs to be overhauled. IIRC they were conquered in like may 1936 but there was still limited warfare/rebels going on for the next few years. If the capitulation mechanics remain the same for the Ethiopian War, the focuses for Ethiopia better be like 5 days long each so you can actually go down the tree before Italy wins. (And if they make it so the actual war lasts longer like the Spanish Civil War, they need to make a national spirit or some kind of exception or something so Italy can still send volunteers to the Spanish Civil War since you're normally forbidden from sending volunteers during war)I don't think Italy will come with a small dlc since it requires its own mechanics and it is also possible to do something similar as they did. France creates two small trees for when the civil war breaks out, one for the fascist state created by Mussolini, which was the Saló republic and another small tree for the pro state. ally of Badlogio and King Victor Emmanuel III
I agree with you that Ethiopia and Austria will accompany but I disagree that the countries in which the countries of the Middle East come in, rather trees I see more similar a shared tree for the Balkan republics where the Italians promulgated the internal dissent of the Yugoslav state where Croatia and Albania could suggest a somewhat more specific flavor in these shared trees inspired by Chinese warlods.
About the Middle East I see it more as a country pack similar to the last dlc they have released
I think the big deal in the DLC will be the german/soviet decisions about their front since the DLC is literally called Barbarossa. Germany will get better reichskommissariats and the soviets get their defensive decisions, like maybe something about Stalingrad ( when Stalin didn't evacuate civilians and stuff) but there will also be new events on things like fall of Kiev, Leningrad, Stalingrad, Moscow... I'm sure the front will be much more interesting from both sides and there will be many interesting things to do.Obviously soviet rework (we riot if not but also great troll on the devs part) and I also think Finland will get a tree and poland will get a rework but a small part of me hopes Mongolia get its own tree.
So....A parrot, a racoon, and a bear walk into a Berlin pub...eventually ending up at the office making a fine mess.and it all stems from that fateful day, in that Berlin train station pub
Have u ever seen the movie "the revenant"? Pretty much thatSo....A parrot, a racoon, and a bear walk into a Berlin pub...eventually ending up at the office making a fine mess.
You gotta tell us what happened in between.
Let's remember the Polish tree came out with the launch of the game, they have already said several times that they want to do a rework and surely add things like a special status for Danzig, it could be considered a collaborative state of the Poles or have a certain autonomy as it happened in reality.I think the big deal in the DLC will be the german/soviet decisions about their front since the DLC is literally called Barbarossa. As for the focuses, ( at this point we are all sure there will be a new one for USSR) my speculation is the following:
-Democratic route, release the soviet republics, go with Britain/ an alliance of our own, crush Germany/japan
-Communist route; the historical route, added new countries to push around like Iran, Afghanistan, Turkey. New focuses to improve the war with Germany
-Monarchist route ( this is the one I believe the least in, even less than fascism) Restore the monarchy, bring back Poland, Finland and restore the Russian Empire
I doubt there will be a fascist route but it's entirely possible.
I'm also pretty sure there will be a focus/purchase decision/war goal for Alaska or even a bigger part of North America.
As for other countries, I believe the most in Finland ( winter war) but in Poland, I doubt because there is already a unique focus tree for them. Mongolia is a possibility (Mongol empire and stuff) but I don't think this DLC will include many countries, they will probably focus on the soviets.
And for the final note, If I may be extremely optimistic, I hope to get Scandinavia, whole eastern Europe, Iran, Afghanistan, USSR, Mongolia all in this DLC (that's just my hope, I know it's not gonna happen).
Personally I do not see Italian rework jointly to the Soviet rework since they do not have any interrelation beyond the issue of supplies something can be applied to any game nation that came into conflict, in which all in greater or lesser had serious problems with their lines of supply in some period of the conflict especially in extreme climates such as the desert or the tundra on the eastern front, or in China etc ..it’s got to be the USSR, after that I’m pretty confident that Finland will get one along with an expanded winter war. To me I think winter war would be implemented best if both nations involved were worked on in the same dlc, especially since trees and decisions from separate dlcs are sometimes buggy when they interact with each other. A third choice that I think makes perfect sense would be Italy, if the rumor that a supply mechanic is in the works Italy would be a great choice as Italy had huge problems with supply in Libia. Currently axis can just sent a couple tank divisions into Libia and easily push into Egypt, in reality the problem of supply made this extremely difficult. If Italy is reworked then Austria could be a fourth possibility for an anti-German fascist alliance or stresa front. I also really hope Belgium gets some attention at some point, but all their neighbors already have unique trees so it feels like the red headed step child in Europe right now, especially since out of the European minors, in a historical game, Belgium is, in my opinion, the most important European minor.
