Hi there,
I have been really enjoying AOW
F, it is a truly remarkable Game. One thing it lacks I think is the possibility for a fast Battle so you can sneak in a fast Round if you just have half an hour or so to play either on your own or against a friend. The Idea would be to have a system similar to Total Wars Quick Battle.
Both side choose a race and secret Tech which the other can see. Then you get a certain amount of Resources (Energy and Cosmite or a point system) to choose units and mods for those Resources. One being the attacker and one being defender the armies then play a tactical battle against one another. Later you could add scenario battles, city defences, 4-man-battles and so on ;-).
I don't know whether this Idea has been put before in the Forums or on Discord, if it has I support the Idea ;-). You can currently only do this if you prepare a hotseat game or something alike but it is very cumbersome. I would love this to either be part of DLC 4 (hope!) or a mod if it is possible, sadly I don't know about moding otherwise I would try it myself.
Tell me what you think about this. Where could it be improved, where lie problems and would it be possible to implement.
Love to hear feedback ;-)
