I've enjoyed the demo, but i have some questions.
1. Is it possible later to change from kingdom to republic and reverse.
2. What is the factor to fabricate claims, becouse some provinces can be some can't.
3. Does AI gets atriction.
4. What bonuses get ai from being a lucky nation.
5. Italy gets Imperial Authority bonus, but when you form it as Venice its seems useless.

1. When your republic tradition reaches 0 - despotic monarchy. I'm not sure if you can change to republic. Should be possible.
2. You need to share border I think (or sea province). NOT SURE ABOUT THIS
3. Everyone gets attrition.
4. Usually more tax, better advisors, better dice rolls on sieges and battles, higher manpower pool etc... But it's only slight bonus not something crazy...
5. I have no idea about this one. :D

1. To Republic only from revolutions/rebellions. From Republics only through loss of all Republican Tradition. Others... less certain. Tribes should be able to change to Monarchies when they reach the appropriate tech level.
2. Adjacent provinces. Including an adjacency over a single sea "province."
3. Yes, but only for land units. AI Navies do NOT suffer from attrition.
4. Same as you would, but I don't know what they are.
5. Imperial Authority bonus as in... for the HRE? You could join the HRE, then it would be useful.

I have a few additional questions:
1. I have two trade nodes that I have power in, but no merchant. I think the upstream one says it is steering money, and the downstream one says it is trasferring power. Are they actually doing that? I couldn't find actual evidence of the money steering without the merchant, so I question my interpretation of the screen.
2. Do cavalry have hidden shock bonus?
3. Do we know if the Monarch rating is an even distribution die roll (i.e. all numbers have same chance)?

4. Same as you would, but I don't know what they are.

Player does not get lucky nation bonus. Only the AI.

These are the EU3 luck bonuses:

Merchant Compete Chance +10%
Colonist Placement Chance +10%
Missionary Yearly Success Chance +1.5%
Leader Fire 1
Leader Shock 1
Government Tech Cost Modifier -2%
Land Tech Cost Modifier -2%
Naval Tech Cost Modifier -2%
Production Tech Cost Modifier -2%
Trade Tech Cost Modifier -2%
Spy Efficiency +5%
Stability Cost Modifier -50%

From what I've seen in the demo, the luck bonuses in EU4 are similar.
