I would assume the elder twin is the one listed first in the save file as it couldnt go by birthday.
Or it could just "random_list = { 50 = {} 50 = {} }" it for who gets to be the first one out into the world?

Maybe but that would be alot more complicated, i mean either you use a flag or something to specific which is older, which requires placing it and checking it in every succession calculation, or you just go by first on the list wins, which is how localisation doubleups work.
In previous versions of the game, my liege has given me both honorary and landed titles. As always, it's a bit haphazard (I was Brandenburg and the Emperor gave me the Duchy of Salerno) but you won't see me complaining.
I have no idea if the most up to date version has the AI doing this.
Maybe you could recruit an awful spymaster that hates you and try to assasinate someone very powerful with really high intrigue and hope for retaliation?
Gamey? Noooo, of course not!

That's... weird. Especially given the importance of de jure title claims I'd prefer this not happen.
Wait, or do I? I guess it's sort of like your liege saying "I'm giving you the title, now go get your own de jure lands, kiddo!"![]()
Are all king level catholic bishops Popes? As i was just looking through the manual there, and it seems to suggest that if a Bishopric gets the title of King of somewhere, he'll be Pope of it whether its the papal states or not.
And it doesnt even say what an Emperor level one would be called.
And with honourary titles with stipends, where does the money come from? out of thin air or from the liege [i.e. your] bank?
