how come china always revolts? my current government is democracy? first it become 3.00% revolt risk after 1 month it becomes 15.00% why? pops militancy is 0 some become 8 automatically. why?

Post a screenshot of rebelling POP and its issues. That will help in explaining the causes. And such big changes in militancy are most likely result of events.

Either press F11 or (IMO better way) press prtscr and then copypaste it to Paint or some other program. For uploading pictures you need to use some site like www.photobucket.com - after uploading post here using IMG tags.

And posting screenshot of your problem will let us see what is the problem. Without that we can't properly tell you what is the problem.

You got hit by events that increase militancy. Check China.txt in db\events folder and you'll see.

Its BRITAIN not England and they may not ally with you because they do not want war and you are at war.

EDIT: or alternatively you could call it:-

-UK
-British Empire
-Great Britain
- or any other name that implies that there is not just one nationality within the country

...or Scottish, perhaps? =)

so you mean there are yankee's and dixie's in a british nationality?

Man, I think before you get too deep in this you need to just reign it in and spend a good long time going over U.S. history from just before the American Revolutionary War up until and perhaps a bit through the Civil War. There's about a hundred years of history, a slew of minor conflicts (and not minor, ie. the War of 1812) and whatnot that created very clear dividing lines between what it was to be "American" and what it was to be, "British," along with a strata of options in between, such as the New Englanders, Midwesterners, Southerners (Confederates), etc.

Well, that's what a European would say anyway. God knows you get called it enough times if you cross the Atlantic. A Yankee is a citizen of the U.S. whose family was in what would become one of the "Union" states or territories from before the Civil War. A Southerner (Dixie's a narrowminded view of the South. After all, there's Dixie, the Deep South, Creole country...a whole slew of things, much less Texas) is a descendant of a family whose heritage lay in the future Confederate States before the Civil War. The two cultures are still very, very different today (especially politically), but generally they blend at the margins in what I like to call the, "Yankees come to Disney and decide to retire, drive slow on I-4 and complain about the weather in the most humid state in the country" effect. =)

so what should i do? to stop this event?

If that's Taiping rebellion event, it's one-time event. Now you just need to get the militancy back down and the rebellions will stop.

You play VIP. So you should ask VIP specific questions in the VIP forum. For example regarding the events, which are different from Vicky and Ricky. Also the requirements to civilize (this is handled by an event as well) are totally different in VIP. Only the general game mechanics is the same. Like what to do to decrease the militancy.

So to sum it up:
- What to do to avoid taiping rebellion -> event specific question -> VIP forum;
- What to do to decrease militancy -> game mechanics question -> general forum.

And by the way you should read Vickywiki. Have I told you you should read Vickywiki ? Vicywiki will make you a millionaire ! It will make you the greatest statesman that ever lived ! All the people (OK, most of them) will worship you ! Yes, that's true ! (well, in-game anyway :) ). Do you feel the need to read Vickywiki ? You should ! It's right here waiting for you:

i am sorry!! i did not know this was a vip question.

It is as Redhead said: vanilla and VIP have different events. Those questions are best asked in VIP forum. Answers will be different depending if it's VIP or vanilla event.

Game mechanism events (like how immigration works) are best asked here.

No, assimilation is hardcoded. The reason why Russia assimilates slowly (if at all) is because it's a European country. If you have a full citizenship party in power, you can at best assimilate POPs of 2,000 or less in size. If you have limited citizenship, you can only assimilate POPs of 300 and with residency you pretty much can't assimilate at all.

how come this wont become a province? i have two colonie's already?
they are both trading post? what should i do?

are you playing VIP - if so there are colonization bans that prevent nations from claiming colonies on a continent even if they buy existing buildings from other nations.

Russia for example can not claim Asian colonies until 1865 IIRC in VIP, so even though you have the buildings, you are blocked from claiming them.

Also, though I do not think this is the case here, if the provinces have a life rating below what you are allowed to colonize in, even if you buy claim building that exist you will not be able to claim the colony due to the low life ratings.

but in your case, if you are playing ViP, I think given that it is 1838 and Russia is blocked from colonizing Asia in VIP until the 1860s, that is what you are experiencing. Keep in mind that historically the claims of ownership to Sakhalin were not worked out between Japan and Russia until the early 1870s, so a colony block for Russia until the 1860s makes sense for keeping the historical development of Russia's expansion. Since you are playing an ahistorical route by trying to claim Sakhalin very early, you are coming up against game mechanics designed to preserve the overall historical environment in VIP.

Check your diplomacy screen, you will see the list of colony blocks that Russia has with itself in VIP and when they end.

Alba gu Brath! - nah am not really that patriotic but it does piss me off something awful when foreigners don't understand the difference... Its like calling Germany, "Prussia" its just simply incorrect and demeaning to the rest of the people in the country.
