Does moving the capital to an island still work to prevent the mandate penalty for the emperor of China? I am planning on doing a Ming --> Shan --> Yuan --> Timurids --> Mughals run for my first WC attempt but if the mandate tricks do not work I don't know how well that will work. Further, does anyone know how the decisions for enthrone timurid prince/ form timurids/ form mughals decisions work yet? Mostly wondering if there is a religious requirement for timurids in the new patch. Really liking the insane claims and cores that Shan, Yuan, Timurids, and Mughals all give

Ah darn. Well plan B for those wondering is a Norse custom nation that can immediately form Qing controlling mongolia and the siberian uncolonized areas, then hopefully I can still take the timurid decision for those cores and mughal decision for that. Thanks for the quick answer!

I could be wrong but I'm PRETTY SURE that Tumurids cannot be formed. You either start as Timurids or you crush them mercilessly.

In the dev diary it said there was an "enthrone timurid prince" decision for "powerful independent nations in the area" but I need to find out the requirements (steppe horde, culture, religion?). When will the details of stuff like this the form Rum requirements come out?

Would use a much more straightforward approach to the first world conquest, something like Austria->HRE or France or Ottomans

Dealing with the pretty annoying Celestial Empire isn't worth it imho

Probably true. But I am trying to get a friend into the game by doing a 3 person coop thing and so we are probably gonna try to as a team of 3 do a shia custom nation 1 faith forming Qing, Timurids into mughals, and Rum just so we can all use the new mechanics and have our friend learn in a safe environment so the questions do still have relevance.
