1. When my liege declares war on someone, how do I join? Playing as Bohemia, the HRE declared a holy war on Pomerania. I assumed I could join, so I raised my levies and sent them to Pomerania. Sure enough, we attacked and won battles against Pomerania and laid siege to the holdings there, however when the war concluded I received the message stating that the Kaiser had won the war. When I clicked on the blue message icon that says "Open list of messages" in the message window, I saw the title "A war has ended that you did NOT participate in."
So obviously simply sending my army against Pomerania wasn't enough to be considered "participation" so what is? Is there some diplomacy thing I have to do before I'm officially a participant in my liege's war?
2. At a point during the war I was in a siege against a barony in Pomerania. The siege progressed to about 25% when suddenly a very small Pomeranian levy was raised in the province I was already occupying and attacked. After the attack, I notice that my siege progression had fallen to 0%. In the siege window a red icon told me that the siege has been abandoned until the attacking forces outnumbered the opposing forces. I don't understand, my army WAS outnumbering the opposing forces. After the small enemy levy appeared and was beaten, I should have been outnumbering the opposing forces by even MORE, but I checked the province data and the defenders were suddenly outnumbering ME. What gives?
