I want to play in Roscrea with access to Tamriel guilds. Which file edit would be "safer" for integrity of the mod, the guilds or region files?
Amazing mod btw.
If you want to add Roscrea to Tamriel guilds, just add
'nirn_roscrea' to regions in nirn_tamriel = {} in geographical_region.txt in map folder.

Is there a way to reinstate the Mane as the ruler of Elsweyr...as an outside power?
Some king took over there, and just recently the exiled mane died and i cant seem to find any more manes in the world, nor do i think, placing that character in power, would make it a mane(or would it?)

Quick update...i seem to have found a new mane, but the question still stands

Are there any mechanics (present or planned) regarding dragon priests? IIRC dragons were pretty tyrannical, but also granted powerful boons to loyal followers. It would seem a high (revolt) risk, high reward kind of religion.

I've only ever reinstalled the Mane while an emperor, so definitely not as an outsider.

Are you able to invite the Mane to your court and push any claim he might have? I'm not sure if he has a claim by default, but pushing claims for courtiers who are neither landed nor relatives should install them as an independent ruler.

I'm afraid I can already guess what the answer is, but I'll ask nonetheless: is there any way to get rid of the 'depopulated province' modifier after you massacred the locals as Undead?

I'm currently playing as fully transformed Lich - and yes, there are a lot of boni already attached to this situation - and I find it strange that I'm doomed to suffer from low garrison demense provinces. It makes thematical sense that a province which has just been depopulated would be useless in terms of production/tax, but I'm sure any Undead conqueror would be able to summon enough thralls to fully man the walls of his fortress of doom.

First I just wanted to say I love this mod. By far my favorite mod for Crusader Kings. Second is there a way to get rid of the single county conquest CB? I really like High Rock staying as small minor states as long as possible, but as it is it only takes a few years before they gobble each other up and consolidate into somewhat more stable larger holdings. I was looking around the cb_types folder, but I don't have any experience modding and I'm not sure what I'm looking for or what to change or delete.

Dragon Cult rulers can get Dragon "troops" via decision but that's the extent of it.

Let me ask about this. I'll get back to you once I know.

EDIT: Right now, Undead and Daedric cultures can't get rid of depopulation, but the intention is for them to have a Horde modifier that offsets the levy and garrison penalties (though their tax will remain rather poor). It's a WIP and not something that's been implemented just yet, but it's something that will be part of the mod in the future, and likely soon.

EK uses pagan_county_conquest as the Conquest CB, so you'd want to go into the 00_cb_types folder and under that CB, go to the can_use={} bracket and delete everything in there, replacing it with always = no which will ban any use of the CB by any ruler.

Good to hear that. And for the record: I'm not arguing against the modifier or the current system in general. It's just in this particular fringe case that it doesn't make sense to reduce one's garrison. A penalty to levies and building cost might warrant some discussion, but a huge reduction of tax should be included in any case.

I'm looking forward to see what you can come up with, however.

It's no problem. This is just one of those things that isn't totally complete yet, so it is what it is. :p

Hello! I just started with the mod for the first time, and picked an Indoril muthsera to be my first character. She's unmarried and in prime elven age for having children (70). However, I'm having a real hard time arranging a marriage outside of her own court for her. No matter whom I contact, they all point out that I'm 'past childbearing age'. I'm guessing the engine still checks for the vanilla human age of infertility? If so, is there any way for an adult female elven ruler to marry someone outside of her court, or am I doomed to marrying one of my own (damnedly young) lowborn male courtiers?

Edit: Got the answer on Discord, seems it's an engine issue after all.

How do i set the forsworn heresy to be a pantheon religion?
I already added them to the old gods patron events, but i'm not sure how to make the decision to choose a patron apply to them?
I just want the forsworn to have the same patrons as the standard reach faith

it's not do with god_names in religions is it?

Edit: Figured it out. ek_religion_triggers

1. are assassinations all handled through the hiring of another agent by manually clicking assassinate after beginning the plot? or is that in addition to the vanilla way of waiting for it to fire naturally?

2. whats the point of the 'claim title' (in my case duchy) decision? by the time you are eligible for it you can usurp anyway since it needs over half of the territory inside it. Is it just a slightly cheaper(up front, given war costs once you press the claim) option?

3. I have 3 children. 2 are unlegitimized bastards from different seductions. They are in other realms, with different mothers that I cannot invite to court. So I was waiting to be able to invite the mother once I rank into duke. But i win a war for a county level province (barony in EK terms) and get a message that my wife and all 3 children have arrived at my court. I didnt switch court capital, i just gained a new county and it sent them all to me immediately after winning.

^ Ive seen this occasionally happen in vanilla, but im wondering why this is so? Its fine but Im not sure the logic behind my two, 2 year old bastards arriving without their mothers. Why did a new gain trigger this? WAD?

Is it Just me or does the "Hero/dragonborn tries to kill the daedric herald event" happen way too fast and too often? I was testing out the daedric invasion feature and by event I killed one hero, but then just a few months later, another hero challenges me and kills me. There should be like a year cooldown between adventurers/dragonborns trying to kill the herald.

Also it's weird to be able get the fighter's guild etc, to help you kill bandits that are plaguing your land due to being over the demesne limit. Also why does a daedric invasion have to be agnatic elective? I can't seem to change the inheritance rules. Plus why does a daedric herald even have to deal with a council?

Also I don't know how you would stop this, but it seems weird for cult of daedric X to join defensive pact against Herald of Cult of Daedric X. I mean at some point, you can have the dremora specifically summoned to the world with you as Herald to conquer in the name of their prince opposing you in a defensive pact.
