I'm not sure if this is a bug or a new creative decision by the development team, but the realm coat of arms are completely different from when I first played the mod a year ago. The Cyrodilic Empire's heraldry is a grey fortress on a field of blue, the Kingdom of Cyrodiil has thick red and white stripes and Pellsgate is like a flower or something. Am I just going to have to get used to this?

I'm having the same issue. It's definitely a bug with flagfiles.tga.

I'm getting the random flags bug. No flagfiles.tga is loading on startup. Does anyone have a working flagfiles.tga for the newest SVN?

I'm not sure if this is a bug or a new creative decision by the development team, but the realm coat of arms are completely different from when I first played the mod a year ago. There was a problem earlier this week (and seem to be solved today) which a corrupted flag file that was causing crashes and other problems. If the proposed fix doesn't work try deleting your flag cache. If it still don't work, report back.

I'm getting a CTD every time I select a character and attempt to launch the game. ESM.mod file is updated, so is SVN. All DLC (including portraits) are equipped. Any advice?

I've tried on current version w/ JD, but also rolled back to 2.7 w/out JD and I get CTD upon selecting character and launching game in both instances.

Uninstalled and reinstalled SVN, also verified game files, still no dice.

You could try verifying base CK2 game integrity on steam. The latest revision 1589 worked fine for me. Not sure if EK uses any assets from the base game that could be the cause of it.

Is there any additional info I can provide that could help anyone pinpoint the issue? Would really like to fire up the mod again, very excited about everything the team has been doing :)

I am new to this mod, and i would like to know if there is some thread/link i could read explaining how the battle tactics work now? My second question probably was already answeared before but i couldn't find it: Is there any possibility of adding retinues in the future? Thanks.

Why do all but the Aldmeri start out with Tanistry/elective succession? I mean such successions make sense for the Agonians and Dunmer (and maybe the khajiit) but not for most human and elven races. So is this a temp thing or a bug? And followup, how to I change the default succession law to something else (like primogeniture or gavelkind)?

Is it still possible to convert to province religion while leading an army to the province? ek_conversion_decision.txt file is commented out. Why? Is it intended?
There is no similar decision in MNM.

1 - If by free you mean not paying tribute to the Tribunal Temple, when the current Archcanon dies you will have the option to keep paying it or renouncing it, meaning you won't have to pay any more money to them but you'll also be on your own, and the rest of the houses will have the Temple on their side if you decide to go to war against them. You can hire the Morag Tong to speed things up if the Archcanon is taking too long to die, you know...

2 -...speaking of which, the reason for that is you don't have enough money. Money for hiring the Morag Tong is dependent on the relative importance of the target. Courtiers are the cheapest, king and emperor tier character are the most expensive. The minimum is 300 gold for a courtier, but I recall killing an Archcanon and having to pay 1000 gold (maybe it was less, but it certainly felt as being really expensive). So, save up some money for political assassinations!

oh, i thought for some reason it depends on your rank (like many other things in the game). And it`s 2000 gold.

Well, i don`t. I tested it as well as assasination and after Archcanon death i didn`t received any events, even though i`m following a HerMora's cult.
And anyway it`s strange i can`t go to war against Temple when i`m not following Almsivi religion

Why King Kurog isn`t following Trinimac at the Alliance War bookmark. Is this religion even in the game?
Also, how about adding some modifiers to alliances members to make them love each other more at least for the time of AW?

p.s. My old questions still are not answered :(
