Are my councilors suppose to have special options like colonizing ruins and whatnot? Is my game bugged? I am using the SVN
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1262378571

I just noticed that under Oversee Construction there's a chance of discovering ruins.. I just remembered there being other icons, nvm then!

As far as I'm aware, colonisation is the way in EK to change the culture of a country, not to colonise ruins. About the ruins, you can develop them with 200 gold and right clicking any country that has undeveloped ruins to get some nice modifiers. Ruins used to be quite different, with the Steward randomly discovering them and giving a boost for a time. It was fun but it did not make sense sometimes, such as finding Ayleid ruins in Solstheim and such. Currently ruins are fixed and unique to each province, and you don't need your steward to get their benefits.

Hey, I was trying to play the 0.2.0 version but I can't start it. Rolled back to 2.6.3, disabled all required DLC, validated files, deleted previous Elder Kings files but the same thing keeps happening. Launcher goes full screen for a second and then crashes back to desktop. All my other mods work, would appreciate any help.

Hi. I have CK2 on steam and I ran the self installer and the mod downloaded itself to the correct place, in mods in Crusader Kings 2 folder which seems like the correct place. When I start the launcher for the game it comes up under mods and I click to enable it (I do not run it with any other mods) but when I hit play the launcher goes away and nothing happens. The vanilla game is still playable fine just this mod won't start. I don't have any DLC so are there any required ones to make it start or have I installed wrong?

I don't know if it's the cause of your issue, but from the release thread:
ALL CONTENT DLCS ARE RECOMMENDED, MILEAGE MAY VARY WITHOUT THE CONTENT DLCS.
Though this was posted in 2016, so that wouldn't include Monks and Mystics or Jade Dragon.

EDIT: Also, if you're using the last version linked on the forum, there are several required cosmetic DLCs, and I think not having them will stop the game from launching. This doesn't apply to the SVN version, which will default to vanilla portraits if you're missing DLC.

Hello there, amazing mod! I have the latest SVN version, and I just wanted to know: is there a reason Serana is only 20 years old at game start, while her parents are 3100+ years? Not really a problem at all since I can just increase her age with the console, though I just wanted to know if there was a specific reason for it. Also should she not be in hiding or something similar? It's odd to see her married off to some random dude considering her situation. Maybe make a new trait that works the same except it can only be disabled through a special decision.

Am I the only one who doesn't like the county conquest CB and the Kingdom conquest CB added by the latest SVN versions?

And if it's not difficult, how would one remove those CBs added by the mod after Jade Dragon? To clarify, I like the CBs that Jade Dragon itself added.

The game deals oddly with immortal characters, sometimes the young appearance sticks and sometimes it does not. Having her actually being 20 just makes it certified that she will look young.

I have two questions for the SVN version.

1: Why is everyone plotting to kidnap my spouse? Literally half of my vassals are in jail for plotting to kidnap my wife in my House Hlaalu playthrough. (I married a Bosmer from the Camoran dynasty, if that matters.) I can understand if they hate my wife for being a different religion and culture from them, but why on Nirn are they trying to kidnap instead of kill her? Half of my vassals are Almsivi, and the other half are Cult of Sheogorath, and they both keep plotting to kidnap my Bosmer Green Pact wife, but I can't figure out why.

2: How do I become independent and attack the Tribunal Temple as one of the Dunmer Great Houses? I converted to a different religion (Cult of Sheogorath), but I still can't attack the Tribunal Temple and claim counties I have strong claims on. I've also dragged them into wars that got most of their army killed and polymorphed the Archcanon into a chicken in the hopes of destabilizing it, but the only way I can think of to attack them directly is to somehow form the Velothi Empire and become their de jure liege.

OK I hope this makes sense; so I've recently started to flesh out the various dynasties to make them seem more ancient, instead of magically starting in 3370 or having a "bloodline" character. My question is this; do we have any character IDs reserved for specific dynasties or no?

How is the AI getting thousands of event troops whenever I declare war on them? It's annoying to not be able to accurately gauge how strong the AI will be if I declare war on them. Are they summoning Dremora or something?

How is the AI getting thousands of event troops whenever I declare war on them? It's annoying to not be able to accurately gauge how strong the AI will be if I declare war on them. Are they summoning Dremora or something?
If you're declaring on the house of Alm-Si-Vi, you should just be grateful they're 'only' summoning dremora, rather than making the entire continent underwater, using the time-breaking giant stompy robot, or just getting you to zero-sum.
Although, now I think about it, followers of hostile daedric princes (the house of troubles, Azura) should get buffs for attacking the Tribunal - event troops and the like. Azura especially isn't the type to let the opportunity for some spite pass her by

I'm declaring war on House Indoril and House Redoran. I currently can't attack the Tribunal directly. The Tribunal were even my allies in attacking House Indoril, since Indoril is led by a warlord who completely conquered House Dres and attacked House Telvanni. (I worship Sheogorath from the house of troubles because he gave me money for free during an event, and my son was killed during an Almsivi pilgrimage.)

1. Same question:
How do I become independent and attack the Tribunal Temple as one of the Dunmer Great Houses? I converted to a different religion (Cult of Sheogorath), but I still can't attack the Tribunal Temple and claim counties I have strong claims on

2. Why there is only "I`ve changed my mind: option when using "Assasinate" button? How to use DB or MT?
