Just started a new game as prussia, havent played prussia since vic:rev. My situation is.. well.. denmark.. annoying... I started a war with them at 7.2 jing. won an initial battle went to add wargoal and not enough jing cause apparently it went down .5 in 5 days.. Why is that? I am winning they arent blockading me with their 3 ships. and yet it continues to decrease... then increase.. then decrease again. does the liberal revolution have anything to do with that? cause i have not gotten any events that mess with my 75% conservative house..

My second question is if i sphere a satellite of a sec power and then declare war on said secondary power, will their satellite leave my sphere and join their master? or will they join but still be in my sphere?

I'm not quite sure, but I don't think they leave your sphere during the war, influence doesn't generally get destroyed by being at war. I'm guessing you're planning on releasing Holstein from sattelite status though and I am pretty sure, that this automatically puts them in your sphere. I haven't played vanilla in a looong time though. I mainly play PDM plus modmods.

The Jingoism should grow over time if you fulfil you war goals. And your Upper House doesn't say anything about Jingoism in your population [unless you have the last reform, but I don't think you have]. The Population screen should tell you much more.

Satellite will stay in your sphere, but you won't be able to influence them if they enter the war.
I believe.

Satellite Question: I was under the impression that you will lose the satellite as your sphereling, and they will enter the war on their master's side. However, if you successfully free them, then they will join your sphere again.

Jingoism grows as your warscore does - that is, it grows as your nation does better at war. If you fulfill war goals, it rises even faster. You should see the jingoism increase if you are wiping the floor with Denmark. Beware war exhaustion though, as that causes jingoism to decrease.

Thanks all for answering my questions. I wanted to knock out denmark in one go(both holsteins) in the first 5 years for quick ngf and before they ally with britain like they always seem to do. I can only holstein and mainland denmark. This leaves me with only 50 warscore and 6.8 jingoism.. just low enough where i cant add a wargoal to free holstein(I used acquire danish holstein for cb) Since I dont have a navy and it takes too long to build enough to kill 3 puny ships i am stuck on the mainland.

Perhaps im doing this wrong. maybe i should free the satellite then ill have enough jingo for wargoal? like would it take less jingo for a wargoal if u were to free something rather than taking it?

I always thought that war goals need the same amount of Jingo, but I can be wrong.
Kill that 3 ships, maybe they are blockading something and giving you war exhaustion so your people don't want to fight.
