Question: What Mod should i play ?

Hi,

I want to play now a mod after long playing vanilla HoI2.

Now my Question is: Which Mod should i give a try?

In the last months there were new versions of Core, Stony Road, TRP, Daim and several small mods like Starfire or HiP.

Could you give me hints what are the pro and the contras of the various actual mods ?

In the Past i only tested the small ones unter 1.2 like HiP and Starfire. I liked the way they changed battle duration and losses.

HSR is made mosly for playing Axis (especialy Germany) - new units and events.

CORE2 has got Whole lot of new features like techs, units, many events but there is still no AI for it, but it's worth to check.

TRP is the most developed mod for 1.3b right now. It's 65 megs.

I prefer the HSR but I think the turtledove would be a cool one, but i heard it has lots of bugs.
