Question: What do I do wrong in flag editing?

So recently I decided to play a little with the 1914, and test my moding skills a bit. I made a HoS and HoG Napoleov V for France and added him in the INC file for 1914 (which worked, yay) and a couple events both flavour and storyline. But when I attempt to edit the flag of France, things go horribly wrong. There are many versions of France's flag : shield_vic, shield_fra and shield_fra_Vic

No matter which of the three I replace, I always end up with a blank flag for France, an absolute nothing. Game crashes after launching :sad:

Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

shield_fra is the file you should replace (the other 2 are not used in 1914 scenario).
Most probably the flag file you created is not properly formatted for the game to use. You can try to get a more precise help in this thread: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?557876-Request-Thread-for-Flags-Graphics
