OK, I created a map, figured that if I wanted to update it at any stage I would have to put it on the workshop.. (no problem so far)
I followed what I had read and got it published, I then subscribed to it (which I also read you had to).. (still no problem)

My problem is: If I go into content editor I now have 2 maps of the same name (one which has view on steam and update buttons (I presume this is the workshop one), and the other has a share button (which I presume is my local one))
Then when I go to start a new game, I find I have both of them to choose from, and I have no way of telling which one is the workshop one and which one is the local one.

Have I done something wrong? - and which one should I choose to start a new game with?

I think the easiest solution is to disable the workshop map in the content manager menu. This means that when you want to play a map you only see the subscribed one. When you want to play the workshop map (before updating to make sure it's the way you made it) you do it the other way around, disable the subscribed map and enable the workshop map.

I'm not making any maps, so I don't know if this way of doing it has any other consequences.

That's the strange thing:
If I disable the workshop one, both still show in new game, I then restart skylines I find it has enabled it again
If I disable the local one, nothing shows up in new game, I then restart skylines I find it disables BOTH.

This is starting to drive me nuts, I am getting to the point of just deleting it from the workshop, I really cannot be bothered...
