I had question come to mind which has been begging for an answer since I watched Wednesday's Japan single player episode. (great episode by the way!)
Ok so, when Da9l "disbands" or "deletes" and air wing, it the planes from the air wing go to reserves, ready for redeployment. He had no Ace pilots at the time but I assume they go back to the ace pilots available pool.
What about land units? Da9l had 40 garrison units at start, but without the right amount of equipment supplied. let us use that situation as an example. Let's say he has 40 garrison units with 75% of the requisite equipment supplied (missing 25% of what they need), and he then disbands one quarter of his garrison units. Does the equipment from the disbanded units return to the nations stockpile, and then begin to be used to supply his remaining 30 garrison divisions??
What about the manpower used for that disbanded division? Are those soldiers returned to available manpower pool, or exempted from future conscription upon discharge (not returned to the nation's available manpower)?
