Despotic Empire

  • +10% Slave mineral output
  • +10% Slave food output
  • Can build a oversized military station
I know I'm not the only one a bit confused by the term "slavery" in both the Collectivist and Xenophobe ethoses. My question is related the the slave outputs bonuses of the Despotic Empire government. Are those bonuses available only for "slaves" of my own species, or only for alien slaves? Or both?

I tought you could only enslave other species by uplifting them from animal status, or another ftl race that you conquered, and i guess robots could be considered slaves. So i guess these are the ones that receive the slave output bonus.

You can enslave your own Pops if you hat the right Ethics for it. There's a button for it right next to the Purge button we saw, which you can also use on your own Pops if you have the right ethics
