Question Regarding Censorship

Alright so, I live in the US so if I bought the game I would obviously get the uncensored version, but I will be in Germany for the entire month of June including release day, so if I preorder the game off of my Steam while I'm still in the US and I download it in Germany when it's released will I have the US edition or the censored edition? Thanks!

From the German FAQ:

- What if I buy the game in the US, install it and move to Germany?
- Nothing happens. You will have the same game that you had before moving to Germany.

Installing doesn't equal activating. Once activated in the US, you should be able to re-install it anywhere. No guarantee.

depends on if there is a geolock on the game, which would make it unplayable with a german ip. As bjorn has stated that it wouldnt make a difference if you moved to germany it indicates to me that Paradox isnt making use of geolocking, which frankly isnt nessesary if i understand our own laws correctly, but i am no lawyer.

@BjornB can you tell us if there is a geolock for the international version or just a activation restriction in germany? The FAQ doesnt really make it clear and Steam doesnt really say anything aswell. A friend of mine living in switzerland wants to gift it to another friend in germany since we want to play multiplayer on launch, but it would be bad if it ends up not being useable and if the 90€ are wasted.

They said that it's the same game, but they made it so that materials considered illegal in Germany is packaged into a "DLC", and the international version comes with this Nazi DLC while German ones don't.
