Question on Weaponst in-game stats.

For example , hovering on Small Red Lader , (in a ship's window)
i see among other:
...
Cooldown : X 'TIME ICON'
....
Average Damage: Y / 'TIME ICON'

I dont understand what exactly are the meaning of the TIME ICON in those occasions.

The time icon means day. It is used on buildings too to show the build/upgrade time. Im this case it means daily damage.
