From what I remember, the fire order of weapons is hardcoded to be in the order of damage done, from most to least. One thing I haven't tested yet is if that also applies to TAG and NARC weapons.

For example, if I make an SRM mech that has a NARC beacon, will it fire last after all of the SRMs, or will it fire first like I would rather have happen? Similar question for TAG and energy / ballistic weapon mechs. Anyone know?

They fire last, but the buff lasts until the end of the attacker's next turn. The firing mech doesn't get the bonus in the inital volley (which makes sense with simultaneous fire), but can use the bonus in their next turn.

The TAG and Narc bonuses are really better for helping the rest of your lance, not necessarily the mech equipped with them.

Ah, okay - thanks for the clarification on the duration of the buff. That's more useful, then.
