Well you don't need to wade through the giant thread to complain/comment about something, you can just skip to the end and post your message. Same with general questions, except they can also be posted here. And the readme contains a list of changes. So I don't think VIP needs a whole sub-forum for general discussions, but if you still think so I can mention this thread to them.
