Question on combat width

Is combat width handeld on a divisional or sub-divisional level?

What matters is your divisions total width as only entire divisions enter battle at a time. If your division has less width that what is available in battle, it will join an ongoing battle. Individual battalions don't join combat without the rest of the division. Hope that is what you were asking. .

Combat width has been neglected by the DD's.

Personally I am qurious about whether combat width is smaller for artillery units on battalion level?
