Question: Is my Mediterranean Portrait DLC working properly?

So why is it now Italians seem to take portraits from Germans, rather than the DLC I had paid them to have? Is my game broken? Am I missing files? I would've liked some form of notification if this was a decision. Or did you guys forget to add in the redone Mediterranean DLC for the Italians too?

Try a clean install and see if it helps
- move any valued save games elsewhere
- "delete local content" in Steam-CK2
- manually delete all files and folders left under Steam\CK2 AND Documents\Paradox\CK2
- re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.

Done. I did all you said, deleting CK2 in both Documents and where it was installed on Steam (Both with the "Delete Local Files" and deleting the folder manually"). Apparently you guys didn't give the Italians the Mediterranean Portrait DLC anymore, even though the store page still advertises Italians being effected by the Mediterranean DLC. Now it's only working for Greeks.

Will this be fixed and the Italians get the Mediterannean DLC, as it had previously? If no plans are here to give the Italians back the DLC I paid for them, is it possible for compensation due to the DLC I paid for no longer working the way it is advertised to?

Sure thing. I also realized it doesn't effect Romans either in the historical records for some reason, when it should.

Can you send them a notification of this thread anyways? Even if they're off and have to do nothing (Truly, they deserve it.), but at least they'd know. I'll be sure to come back in 2 weeks to remind, definitely, but please do show them this now? If possible of course. Thank you.

Update: After purchasing the Iberian Portrait Pack, I realised the Italians, Lombards and likely Romans also use it. Why? They're not Iberian, first of all. Italians are definately Mediterannean. And your store page still advertises Mediterranean for Italians, as it actually should be using. Please Paradox, fix this error.

Done. I was told it's advertised as such, and not a bug.

Then why do you guys simultaneously advertise it for Mediterranean Portraits when you guys, for some reason, took it away from Mediterranean? Why did you guys strip away a feature already in a DLC I purchased with my money, and put it in another DLC for me to pay more? Italians and Romans should use Mediterranean, as I purchased for them to do so, not Iberian, which I had to purchase another portrait DLC. I now ask why did Paradox strip away a feature in a DLC to sell it in another without notice or compensation? Italians + Romans should be part of Mediterranean, as before it was stripped.

I'm sorry, I don't know the answer to your questions, I'm just a lowly tech support dude and have nothing to do with such decisions. I know they've been canvassed in detail in the main forum here, you should search there for what has been said by Paradox so far, if anything.

Wait, er, what? I am sorry, I am misunderstanding. I am confused.

Paradox themselves are shut down over the Xmas break, so there won't be any channel where you can get any sort of official response until the devs come back online starting Monday (I don't know specifically who comes back when, but that's when Paradox as a whole re-open).

In the meantime in order to help you in some measure, I suggested you search the main CK2 forum here for the previous discussions on this matter, where (IIRC) some official Paradox person gave some response to your concern. I'm presuming you tried to do that but were unable to find the threads I was referring to, so I was trying to determine how you went about the search, so as to help you find those threads.

Failing that, I would say the patch thread or a new thread in the main forum would be the way to go.
