if i build an island map, can we make it so that there is a highway on the map but the highway is connected to a ferry port? would be awesome, i find it highly stupid that there is a highway connection across the ocean in the base game. :/(

Would be kind of possible if you would hook the ferry up to a small land on the outside of the map where the highway goes. Would probably cause massive traffic issues and you need the 81 tiles mod but it works (i think)
You just need the road stubs on the map edge. I don't remember whether you then also need a mod to have the harbor available from the onset.
