I'm pretty sure they aren't going to do this. But does anyone know or think they will finally extend the playable date in Crusader Kings III make it like 1392 or much later like actually during the hundred year war? I would love to be able to play during the Hundred Year War or the War of the Roses. I feel these things would be better represented in Crusader Kings III.

PDS has abandoned the idea of numerous start dates quite a while ago. CK3 will only come with the 867 and 1066 start dates.

I really doubt it will be done in an official capacity at release when they've indicated that there will be fewer playable starts, considering that it is a lot of work to fill in the history files properly for late starts; you can't just add the characters that are supposed to be alive in a given start if you want to maintain proper dynastic connections, regnal numbers, and the like, which means you're going to have to add a ton of characters between whatever the preceding start date is and the new latest possible start (and if you move past 1337 the CK2 history files won't be very helpful).

Given how much work it is, I don't think the chances are great we'll get it further down the line either, but that is harder to say for sure as CK2 (and other PDS games) got quite a few things later on that would have seemed unlikely at the start/an earlier point, and I'd say that later start dates probably are more likely to happen than earlier start dates even if dates between existing start dates (say the return of IC) might be more likely than either since at least some of the work needed for that will have been done in advance.

I mean know there is a huge mod in progress that expands the start date and ends at 1485 the reign of Henry VII. Not sure if you have heard of it.

I also know it would be a-lot of work to do it but I do feel like its worth it though. Wish they would feel its worth it too.

However, I think it's dead. The creator hasn't posted in over 6 months, and the last update for the mod was for horselords release and checksum. I wish they would though. I'm sure there is a-lot of people that would be willing to either have it as a DLC and buy it, or just put it in the game to begin with. That does suck though. It's why I ain't buying the game unless I have to be able to play the game of thrones mod. They lost me as a Crusader kings customer.
