i get that techs will pop up in 3 cards every time. but will they change over time or they are permanent? ofc if i don't research them right away

for example, i got some high disaster techs for all three (end game ?)

As I understand, when you begin research in one of your fields (physics, social, engineering), the game draws three tech cards for you to choose from, when you choose one, the other two cards go back to the deck, and the deck is reshuffled. (Unless you didn't pick a rare tech, which will instead likely go to waste and will never be drawn again.)

I saw in the Blorg streams that it is also possible to unlock a tech/discovery that allows you to draw more cards to choose from.

The rare techs do not "go to waste". The chance of redrawing them is just as small as drawing them in the first place.

Ah sorry about that, veeeeerrrry tired tonight.

I'm not sure about that Sarchi... I guess we'll have to wait for release for that? I don't think it would work like that.

You have to research one as far as I know, but there's no reason not to. The possibility of having to spend time researching something you don't really want or need is the flip side to having the chance of drawing some amazing tech and getting a jump on your enemies.

Even if you somehow managed to say, draw 3 dangerous techs, there's no danger to researching them, the danger is only if you try to use them.
