Question about South American tribes tech speed

why exactly migratory South American tribes have same tech speed as Mesoamerican and Andean states? This means that potentially migratory S.American tribe will have better tech speed ( rougly on par with west african and chinese tech groups) than Mesoamerican and Andean states when they complete their "native advancements" ideas. How this is justifiable?

I think just the localisation is wrong. South American tech is 250% more expensive.

Checked game files, you are right, S.American is indeed 250% tech speed just like N.American tech group. Will report it as localization bug.

It doesn't really diminish the validity of your concern, but there are all sorts of weird stuff going on with tech groups; this isn't really an isolated problem.
