I am back after 2.5 year long break with Stellaris and want to decide if this game is still pissing me off.

My ethics: egalitarian, spiritualist, militarist, I took expansion Tradition so my colonies start with 2 pops
Pops on my first three colonies show the following etics:
size 3: xenophile, I do not remember what they showed when size 2 (as 50% majorities count)
size 2: authoritarian, egalitarian
size 2: pacifist, egalitarian

Is it normal? why non of my new planets is spiritualist and militaristic?
What impact will it have for future, does it mean that I will have to face factions from the start?

You don't have to worry about factions too much in recent builds. At worst they'll earn you a bit less influence and give -20% happiness penalty to their member pops but overall you should be fine since usually the pissed ones are minorities. And since happiness no loner impacts production directly, loss due to unhappy minorities is insignificant.

Also, your pop count is too low that I think it's just bad luck that you don't have any spiritualisy or militatist pops. Faction ratio is inclined towards the numbers you see on top in the faction tab so over time it should fix itself.
