Question about patches

With that numbering system for EU2 patches, I am wondering if 1.09 is the most recent or is it in fact superseded by 1.1 ?

I must admit some aspects of 1.09 I disliked. Especially increasing the colonist requirement to secure a province, but that is another story.

As far as I know their isn't a 1.1 patch for EU2.

1.09 is the most recent one (since quite a while). See also thread:

Ummm......I wonder what it was that I misread. No more recent patch than 1.09 ?

You may be thinking of For the Glory, which is currently at patch 1.1.

I can't believe what I have found, on one of my CDs. It's "EU2 patch 1.10 NA version". I am not sure if that is a very early patch or a very late one. I think early. Can anyone confirm?

What's the date on the file?

On my CD the date created is 4th Ocober 2002. File version 2.11.15.0 and file size 2,54 MB, 1.10 NA.

An edit here as afterthought. The patch on my CD only says "Europa Universalis" and not "Europa Universalis 2" or EU2, so maybe it's meant for EU 1. Just not sure.

1.09 was released in 2005. What you have is certainly the EU 1 patch 1.10 .

Okay, thanks for that. I was beginning to suspect it was EU1.
