Question about lend lease equipment EXP gain

Hey all, i got a question regarding lend lease. Back in the days i remember that in order to gain EXP for the equipment you send to someone, you must have a 'active' lend lease (LL) active for the whole period, even if its just 1 rifle. For example

1. I send 10,000 rifles to say China in a single lump sum. I do not send anything else or maintain the monthly lend lease, do i still get exp? (afaik its no)

2. I send 10,000 rifles to China, same as the above but they pass on say 5,000 of them to its warlords. Do i get exp from both sources or do i need LL with all of them to get experience?

3. Alternatively China gains say 10,000 rifles from a ingame event, not from active lend lease. (no exp?)

4. I send China 10,000 rifles. I then maintain say sending just 1 rifle a month LL to China, i definitely get exp right?

I don't think i read any changes regarding lend lease in the patchnotes of the past few versions so i'm wondering if anything was changed or its still you must have a active LL no matter what to get exp and cannot just send equipment once and thats it. I just want to clear up this 'core game mechanic' and how it works currently.

4) Yes, assuming they aren't so obsolete that China doesn't actually use them AND they are your Rifles (not ones you picked up during a conquest).

That is sooo wrong.

How many XP is given?

Depends it at the amount of weapons? Or the total Amount the nation gain?
Do conquered weapons also give XP if i LL them?

This explains why I get so little xp from lend leasing as I've generally been doing it as a lump sum

@Eisscrat Amount actively being used/used up in combat. So if you give someone 1,000 rifles and none of them are used you get none. Not too sure of the amount of exp you get, been some times since i looked at that.

Afaik only the 'maker' of the weapon gets exp. If you produce something via licence production and LL those you get exp. Giving someone captured stuff doesn't give you any exp.

@Bronterre Yeah its a old problem which i why i did not bother LL equipment etc since it was introduced and instead just send an attache. I thought it might have been 'fixed' some time ago since i last checked but it seems not.

In that case wouldn't you maximize XP by send everything as a lump sum and just add 1 rifle monthly?

Yes and yes, as long as they are being used in combat.
By sending the lump sum early, you increase the average time each rifle can get used and the likelihood they will get used (as reinforcements or new divisions).
The only way sending a lump sum could hurt your XP is if it makes your side win the war much more quickly.

Yes, but assuming you have only one type of rifle to send (e.g. German lend-lease to Spain in 1936), you have to do two separate lend-leases since you can't have both a lump sum and monthly sum of the same item active at once. So wait until the first one finishes and then on the same day do a monthly one. Or just add 1 monthly delivery of something else in the initial delivery, like support equipment, and you won't have to worry about it till the war is over (the LL will keep going even after the recipient is no longer at war, meaning you have to cancel it manually).

That's why as Germany I only send guns to the Republicans now. More time for guns to be used and more time to grind generals
