So I’m doing a Rome run(again lol). And there is something that seems vague to me: I know that cultures have different levy compositions, and only draw from your integrated Pops. I went for full on Romanization, so my Etruscan Pops are set to freemen and don’t contribute to my levy size unless I integrate them.

However, Freeman Pops are where you get your manpower. So although the Etruscans aren’t integrated, do I still get manpower from those Pops?

Another question is about slaves; you can have slavery imposed on a culture, but you get a malice to them. So why would you ever want to impose slavery on a culture?

Yes, although at a reduced rate since they are unhappier. Also the Etrurian Freemen won't contribute to the levies.

Setting a cultzre slaves will make the assimilation faster since slaves assimilate faster. I personally don't use it, it's more common as a rp thing.
