Question about extra buildings (churches)

Hi guys, really looking forward to this game. I just watched the early alpha version being played in the 4 part series which so far looked great however one question I had when I saw the last video being played. I saw a cemetery being placed down to bury dead people which makes sense however 2 things immediately came to mind.
1. I noticed when the cemetery was placed that the happiness went up everywhere however I don't know about you but I would not be too happy to be a house next door to a graveyard myself (kind of similar to having a coal station next house although it should not be as pronounced as the coal station example it should still have an effect in that general area in my opinion e.g. reduce house prices).
2. Are we going to have churches/cathedrals etc..... in the game (along with different styles for different religions). This should also help with an area happiness. I know this might be a sensitive subject however I know a lot of towns and cities that have a lot of churches in them (some have several churches in one block/area) so it would seem strange to a) have a cemetery without a church and b) have a town/city without any churches/cathedrals etc..... Obviously you could start with a basic selection of denominations and then people could design their own style churches to fill in the missing ones or design one like they have in their home town.

Churches and other religious buildings are little nice landmarks that help giving uniqueness to neighbourhoods and small cities and towns, so it would be nice to have a variety of them in different shapes and sizes.

i think it's better to go with the SC4 approach and their "centre for worship" buildings. They should have a western design, that suits western houses and buildings, like those from scandinavia, not Baghdad! Also game devs told on their stream, that the inspiration for design of buildings and landscape is Scandinavia,... so western design.

So what you mean is they should be churches.

Not all mosques are "from baghdad" and clash with western architecture:

Also, I think something like this would be super-neat considering the near-future setting that the game is supposed to go to. I don't think it would be out of place in a near future western style city:

well, ok, but only if game makes it absolutely clear that religious centres of today only inspired devs for the looks of the worship centres, never represent them. Yes I mean churches too, and mosques. They should simply be called worship centres or generic temples.

As you might know, it brings a massive demand for temples of various other religions and such, so it would take devs plenty of time just to satisfy all the various religion freaks.

Yeah, the actual religions themselves should play no part, I just think it would be wrong to include only christian-church like religious structures especially considering the multicultural world we have now. I mean, especially in europe a lot of places do have mosques so it's not exactly crazy. I get that we don't necessarily want buildings that would look out of place but there are plenty around that don't look out of place in the west because they're designed and built in the west.

i think it could be handled like in sc5. there were 4 or 5 "chruches" that all did the same thing, but just looked different. they just raised the land value. also why dont you want to live near a cemetry? gardens, old people, nice and calm :D
