If i were to make a map with a big valley with a river flowing through it will we be able to make a massive dam like Hoover dam and have a massive lake behind and generate loads of power
I assume you would be able to make really big dams, and not just the 5 meter tall dam walls they've shown us thus far. I can't see any technical reason why the height of the dam wall should be prohibitive, but it would be nice if TotalMoo could post us a screen shot, just to put our minds at ease. >wink< >wink< >nudge< >nudge<
hells yeah.. I just want more screenshots.. take a close up of a pig I don't even care!

The stream says somewhere what affect the energy produced.
In term of size, I'm pretty sure it depends on the height of the starte, thus in a canyon you could make a dam crossing the canyon and creating a big lake behind.
So, TotalMoo? How about that dam wall screen shot?![]()
We are sharks in a feeding frenzy and we need Moo to put more Chum "Screenshots" into the water. Hurry! We're starving!
There is at least one that I'm releasing soonish.
To answer OP's question - yeah pretty much. More water flow against the dam = generate more power.
