So I've built a fairly large empire in CKII, and was thrilled to see that there was a save converter for us who preordered EUIV (and maybe for everyone? Doesn't matter I guess.), but I've got a question:

I have an empire, with a few vassal kings. Will they become independent nations - though as vassals - or will they become part of my realm? Also, will every religion - in my case reformed norse - be in EUIV, or will it be converted to something similar?

I wonder how reformation plays out if you manage to pull "end the schism" beetween orthodox and christian church.

Doesn't orthodox countries still get affected by the reformation in a regular EU game? Less so than catholic, but to some extent? I feel like it'd still happen in that situation, just as it would to an orthodox country in a regular EU, be a lot less harsh.

Fear not god fellow. They mentioned that reformed religions will be ported over, (so your glorious Norse religions shall live on). And your vassals will only become independent if you have pretty low crown authority.

so here is a question along similar lines... if a vanilla pagan religion that is..lacking(in my case hellenic) is fleshed out with a mod, and that save is converted, will it still work? or does EU IV have something in place already, so i should go without the mod?

What Id like to know is do I have to play to the end of the ck2 campaign? Im in year 1000 and Ive already got most of europe under control. I feel like playing till the end will end up with me owning the entire map, which converted to Europa would give me an insane advantage starting in 1444 to already owning an incredibly large wealthy land that in a regular EU game is full of warring enemies.

Now I feel a scandinavian norse empire consisting of just scandinavia, while being still pretty powerful, would be a lot more fun to play in a EU campaign. Is it possible to convert a game from an early time? Or to have that effect would I have to play through CK2 and just not expand that much?

Again, answered here
Any save will magically time travel to 1444.

PI have said you can use any save game as the start point. It will convert to AD1444 start in EUIV. So your AD1000 start will have lots of unreformed pagans still in Europe.

EDIT: Emu'd

The unreformed pagans in europe seems inevitable anyway. Catholicism's been nearly destroyed. Reformed norse under me Owns scandinavia, north germany, north france, Netherlands, some of the baltic, NW iberian peninsula, thessaly and the british isles. Sunni destroyed the rest of iberia, and the rest of france, The unreformed eastern pagans pushed into eastern catholic holdings, Orthodoxy is confined to where it started and naples, tengri is quite strong in the region. Catholicism is down to a few holdings in burgundy, a few in southern germany, bavaria, and northern italy, with heresys popping up quite frequently.
