question about Bohemia

Wont have IN till I get home from work but I have a question?

Does Bohemia include Brandenburg or does it have it as a vassal or in PU?

Bohemia should strictly be quite a power in central Europe in 1399, and as I am Czech am thinking of playing either it or England as my first country.

and some developer (not me, I was England), managed to lose a war against Bohemia as Austria, and getting down to 2 provinces

I read what Johan said as "I was in England," meaning he wasn't playing that particular MP game because he was in England at the time, so I was wondering why he'd be there, and where abouts, hence I asked haha.

?really? that seems a little strange? I am not entirely aware of the history and maybe due to various issues the alliance structure is probably quite complicated but in essence, the head of the house of Luxembourg was king of bohemia and owned Brandenburg also.

I am unsure how you would do it and of course bohemia was in a major mess with the hussite wars begining at the start of the 15 cent, but technically in many ways its the same state.

Its a bit annoying if it isnt. Particualarly when French minors appear to have far more independence in EU3 than they probably had.

No. Bohemia is a country with a great history, one that I'm looking forward to play (and I do really hope that you can create the Evil Hussite Empire with IN), but Paradox got the setup right (from what I hear, as I don't have IN yet).

Emperor Wenceslaus wasn't actually a great monarch. He was deposed by the Electors (including his nephew!) in 1400 on account of drunkenness and incompetence. He didn't fare better in Bohemia, even being imprisoned by Bohemian mobility more than once.

In 1399 both Electorate of Brandenburg and Duchy of Luxemburg was being held by Jost (spelling?), the very nephew of Wenceslaus who helped depose him year later. So no much control there.

Speaking of Bohemia and hussites, are they in the game?

I remember that in EU2, the game started with Hussite rebellion, and there was an event where you can either accept hussites (and gain Zizka and Prokop Holy as generals), or reject it.

Bohemia is a huge blob in my game, they have conquered all of hungary and a far bit of the HRE and the balkans in my game.

The hussites are i the game, although for me they appeared in Poland.

In my experience Bohemia has a fair chance of becoming a power to reckon with. Sometimes they get into trouble against 2 or 3 out of Austria, Poland and Brandenburg though.
