Question about Bio Trophy output

A Bio-Trophy, when above 50% Happiness, produces 1 Unity, -1 Housing Usage, and what I want to know about, +1% Complex Drone Output.

I remember once that, instead of having direct output, they simply added to an empire modifier that increased output and unity production instead. Now that it's displayed planetside, however, I wonder:

Does the +1% Complex Drone Output apply empire-wide, or is it simply for the planet?

I'd love to have worlds specifically for housing as many Bio-Trophies as possible, instead of having to have them on every world taking up building slots. But, if they only increase output on planets that they're on, then that kinda makes the whole system a lot more annoying.

Empire wide would be insane op

I can tell from your post you haven't built a Ecumenopolis yet with Rogue Servitor

They get a special district that houses 15 Bio Trophy

You want to build Research Ecu and Alloy Ecu, both of which are able to produce a lot especially once you stack those Bio Trophies on them.

Eventually your Bio Trophies should almost all be on Ecu where most of your research and production is taking place.

A Research Ecu will have 60 calculator jobs and as many Bio Trophy's as you can stack.

Relic World Start is the best for Rogue Servitor, not only can the capital be turned into a Ecu but the -25 cost on the guaranteed habitable helps you eventually turn them into Ecu as well.

You can also take the -33 blocker cost tradition which also gives Rogue Servitors an effective 2 extra districts on their Ecu in many cases this can add another 30% Science/Alloy output.

Bro I build 9 trophy resorts, fully upgraded, on a ringworld, for +180% alloy production or +180% science production.

I do recommend still keeping like 5 trophies on your other worlds, since they give stability bonus and a bonus to the roboticists which adds up if you count all of them.

damn, i forgot i still need to actually play and fill a birch world. i think i only played a few in-game months on one before an update came out then i stopped using mods entirely for a long time. definitely need to do birch world rogue servitors :)

It would be cool if there were some benefit to dedicated Sanctuary Worlds, but as it is now, there is not.

Actually, maybe that could be exactly it? A dedicated Sanctuary World designation that makes the bonuses apply empire-wide rather than planet-wide, with a +0.2% empire modifier replacing the usual +1% planetary one?

This way 50 Bio-Trophies on a special Sanctuary World planet would add a +10% empire-wide modifier to complex drone output.

It's a cool idea. Resort Worlds also seem thematically appropriate for Rogue Servitors, and a global amenity buff is very useful for any sort of Gestalt (although you can argue about whether they "deserve" an amenity buff from making Bio-Trophies happy).

One objection is that this sort of thing benefits empires with lots of planets (who might even get multiple Sanctuary Worlds on a big enough galaxy) more than smaller empires, in a way that keeps scaling up. I kind of like it that Rogue Servitors actually have incentives to "build tall" instead of the usual indiscriminate blobbing.
