Question about assigning courtiers to Counties, Bishoprics, and Baronies

Do the individual’s stats have an effect on their abilities “manage” their land holdings?
For example: If I have two courtiers, one with stewardship 5 and the other 10, is it better to assign the 10 stewardship courtier to the barony?

I cannot answer that question, though I suspect the stats have some effect. What I can say is that the stat to look for reminds me of the opening scene of the original Arthur "would the one of you who thinks I'm attractive please step forward". The stat you really want is how much they like you. Though if you're giving them land that usually helps alot.

lol, yes, I suppose it is true the over-riding factor is what they think of me or rather, what I want them to think of me.
