Pretty laid back session. I'm wondering when/if EGO is ever gonna go on the offensive, I can't imagine there being a more advantageous time to expand in Europe.

Not really advantageous time. The real good time for Spanish expansion is between 1550-1630 IMO. Prior to 1550 you get plenty of awesome conquistadors, excelent for expansion out of europe.

Cortez himself conquered the Incas, and looted North africa for decades. Pizzaro conquered India. Anyway, my progress was very slow. This Spain is one of the worsts i have ever built tbh.

All these games as a damned colonizer have made me too soft. Wish i had Austria or Poland...

It seems, after all, Sorelus was correct. There is some conspiracy going on. My wide spy network have just reported the French are openly cooperating with the English. I am not amused.

For now i will let it pass, but do know that any more breech in any agreement with Spain will have severe consequences. Traitors shall be punished... heavily.

True true, but breaking deals with Spain in order to help England isnt really contributing for your image. Even the heathen turks know about america as we speak.

Doesnt take a genious to know what you did tbh. First i got competed out in my COTs in India. Only I and OE knew about India. Then i click the "share exploration" button, and i discover you knew so many provinces as i did. So, only one person could have betrayed me - Drake.

You're the one who keeps begging for NAPs. I've been ready to "face you since the beginning. Come and get it, any time you're ready . But bear in mind that at this point, you have almost three times my income, twice my naval and land support, and vastly superior leaders. So if you fail at any time within the next 100 years, it will look really, really bad for you .

Keep in mind that the log still gets transferred during rehosts.

The problem with this log reading is that only the host is vulnerable to such spying and that's why it should be banned.

Drake, I believe Slargos has a tool to quickly delete the history log of a save. You could PM him about it.

shouldn't really need the tool, the bastards just need to stop reading it or they can find another host, its simple as that asfar as i'm concerned

Drake... In fact, if memory serves, i did ask a satisfaction during the game, to why you shared maps with him. Cant you remember that? Or do you think i saw the logs during the game?

And I told you how i noticed you shared maps with KJ. I didnt need to check the logs. The Spanish Spy Network is the most advanced in the known world... We even know that the French King underwears are pink.

Anyway there is important stuff to be discussed. Mulliman, i dont want to offend you in any way possible, but can we count on you to play the following sessions? Its already 1550 and Scandinavia wasnt united yet and Sweden is suffering because of that.

I am quite unsure whether I should continue in this game and possibly damage the crew even more. When I signed up I was very sure that I would be able to attend, still am, but every week something comes up that I didnt foresee. This is extremely weird, since I have a VERY open schedule (no classes, nothing at all, I spend all my time writing currently).

i suspect this conspiracy involves more then just spain since i haven't heard anything all week

That sounds like a good idea. As for leaders, they really need to have longer lifespans, they're only lasting half a session as it is. Give them another 10-20 years, how bout?

1 explorer and 0,5 conqs from 1550, lifetime: 5-10 (7,5 average)
